The upside-- when you walk in it's decorated really nice and the store looks very nice, framed jerseys on the walls, sports memrobilia everywhere and lots of trading cards to choose from ... The downside--- Boxes of cards are over priced and he charges 30-35 dollars to send a card to get graded. (It's cheaper on the PSA website). Those jerseys I told you about are about 1,500-2,500 dollars and some are even more expensive. Comps online are way cheaper then that. Besides the upcharge and unaffordable stuff the owner is not the nicest of people. Took some cards for him to look over for me and he just pretty much told me it's not worth his time and everything I had was not worth looking at. People like that don't belong in the hobbie. He doesn't care about the hobbie he cares about the money and gets you out of the door as fast as possible. I will not be going back there ever again. I suggest you go check out buzz from brothers. Way better...
Read moreStaff was friendly and prices are okay considering it's a business, but the result from trying to sell/trade cards here was a bit insulting, I won't lie. I came in with around $670 worth of cards (based off of recent sales and TCGplayer, accounting for card condition which I did my best to be objective about). I was hoping to get around $550, but was certainly willing to negotiate further down if necessary, but I was told the most they would be willing to do is $200 cash/$350 store credit. I get that LCS's have to be able to resell and profit, but that's literally 30% cash/50% store credit. Prior to showing my cards I had asked what the going rate they have for buying cards is and the younger gentleman had told me "60% to 80%", which I assume was store credit and sounded promising, but I didn't even get close to that from the store owner. It was definitely a bit upsetting, and I don't think I will be back to this location...
Read moreNice place, they had mostly retail hangers and blaster boxes that were extremely overpriced, and selling retail packs for $10-$20 depending on what you got, you can literally buy hobby packs for less than what they were selling retail packs. But they do have a little bit of everything, including lots of Star Wars. Fun place to check out regardless, friendly employees. Went to HEB and found boxes of 2022 Prestige Football Blaster Box for under $35 as well as 2022 Chronicles Football Blasters , 2022 Score Football Blasters also found 2022 Score Football Fat Packs for $14, they take advantage in my opinion by buying these boxes cheap and marking them up...
