Honey Donuts — Restaurant in Midland

I went to Honey Donuts just this morning after church. I have been meaning to try them since their grand opening a few months ago. Although, I wanted to get out I couldn't resist using the drive thru instead. The first thing I noticed pulling in, is how new that whole strip mall is and how convenient it is to get there. In other words, location is great! However, I went on a Sunday morning so traffic might be worse later around that area. I ended up ordering two small kolaches and two blueberry cake donuts. I think I took too long because the lady at the counter started getting a bit restless (sorry), but they do have a lot of options and I'm indecisive. The kolaches are pretty small but they were extremely hot and super yummy 😋 the donut was also delicious. I would've liked it more if it was warm but that's not. Big deal. O really it was a great experience and I hope to come back and try their other options as well....

I couldn’t help myself so I ordered the maple bacon, Oreo, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Fruit Loops. It’s the perfect breakfast, right? 🤷

We used to come here every single Sunday we were in town because Honey Donuts has by far the best kolaches in town, and they were the only place that had a good selection of cake donuts. The young man who works here is wonderful, while the lady is not nearly as friendly. We stopped coming here about a month ago as they would get sold out of cake donuts and clearly were not making any change to their inventory numbers. Definitely a shame, but we found another great place in town instead. Maybe we will give them another...
