Walking in, we were greeted with a friendly voice that took us to our table. And took our drink orders. Brought out a snack of kimchi, pickled radish, seaweed and bean sprouts- yum!!! We absolutely love Korean food. My favorite thing I constantly crave is kimchi. So I get excited when it actually tastes amazing! Seriously I could eat just a big plate of theirs and nothing else - it was that good! But of course we ordered more. The Tokoyaki was a nice crisp ball that melted in your mouth- careful they are hot!! But not spicy. They are a crisp on the outside creamy slightly sweet gooey inside. My daughter was mad I ate two of the five without sharing. š we had some seaweed soup- yum!!! For the main, My husband had Golden fried rice with pineapple. Chicken. Which he loved! I had spicy pork hot stone bowl, and my daughter had bulgogi hot stone bowl. Yāall Iāve always taken pictures of our food, but it was so delicious and we were having fun chatting that I didnāt even think of pictures until we were done! The owner is a very nice man. We enjoyed chatting with...

I lived in Korea for three years and can say that, no the food isn't quite the same, but it is still good! If you have never had Korean this is a great stepping stone in Midland as we do not have many places like this.
Personally, I think they need to work on the gochu for the Bibimbap and the Soondubu Jigae (tofu stew). Both very tasty! But not quite right and could prolly be easily fixed. The tofu stew tasted like they are using soybean base from the other stew, which isn't the right flavor (instead should be more ź³ ģ¶ź°ė£Ø Gochugaru focused).
That being said, I really enjoyed eating here as I really miss Korean food, they satisfied that for me. The dolsot bibimbap is really good and gimbap very tasty!
As far as price, it is to be expected. They have to import all the ingrediants, so of course it will be more. I also had no problem with the service they were all very nice and food came out quick.
Def go and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām from Korea and I love to cook Korean food. I am impressed with this restaurant. Food overall is great and well curated menu to cater to non-Korean and Korean clientele. Price may seem little high, but their generous portion offset the cost. In reality, if you go to Houston or Dallas, you can expect to may 20% more.
Staff was very friendly. And while mask restrictions is off, staff was wearing masks.
Seafood pancake was crispy, and had generous portion of ingredients. They should add bit more green onions.
Sweet spicy chicken was great.
Hot pot rice bowl was on point. They also served traditional seaweed soup, which was a great touch and authentic.
Galbi (beef ribs) were generous portion, I think it could use more seasoning or longer time marinating. It was still good enough.
Donāt forget to get Hite beer, a light beer from korea. Very refreshing.
Decor is nice, bright and lively, and exudes Korean vibe with kpop music.
Keep up...
