Took 4 of my girls plus myself there June 10th. It was my daughters birthday/adoption gifts. There was a promotion going on where we would get store rebate money in December. I thought perfect I’ll use it for Christmas gifts. Went back to the store today. The manager claims there was never a promotion like that. The promotion they have running now is free earrings for a year. I asked if we could be put under that promotion. She said only if we get our ears pierced again! Of the 5 of us that got our ears pierced one ended up with severe infections and mine were still bleeding 7 months later. The other 3 were fine. The day of the piercings the guns malfunctioned and only half pierced one of my daughters ears then they had to switch guns and try again. They were also training someone who looked terrified and kept shaking. She eventually ran away to the back in tears. It was the worst piercing experience, bad success rate, and horrible customer service when I went back in December. She told me there was nothing she could do and to call corporate. I called. Call before booking an appointment or showing up for ear piercing! I scheduled appointments for my 3 daughters today to get their ears pierced. We drove over an hour to get there, and the store was closed when we arrived with no sign, or explanation. We even got texts and emails confirming the appointments, so be sure to talk to someone in person if you are planning on getting ears pierced! I understand if there was an emergency or other unforseen scheduling issue, but at least put up a sign explaining why you are closed when you're supposed to be open! The security gate was closed and all the lights were off. I called the store number & could hear it ringing on my end but the phone was not ringing inside the store. Awful customer service, went to get one piercing on the upper part of my ear. I told the lady that I wanted a piercing. It was busy and one person was working, and I was more than willing to wait for the lady to get through everyone. After more than 20 minutes someone else got in line for a piercing too after telling her. The lady got done with everyone in line and came over and said she didn’t know who got there first. And they said they should get theirs done first after I told her I was waiting for over 20 minutes before they got there. And she started helping them instead. Very upsetting.
