Hobby Lobby — Local services in Midland

We have always enjoyed shopping at hobby lobby and my girlfriend has spent alot of money their on diamond art but the other day we were there and they had a diamond art brand she had never heard of before so she bought it but the quality was not the best and was not sticky enough for the drills so today we went up their to return it and get a different one of a brand that she normally gets but couldn’t find the receipt so had to get a gift card which is fine but our problem was that they said that they only give you 50% of your money back towards a different one which we did not think was fair because they knew what we paid so then they keep the other half of our money then we have to spend more to make up the difference After that my girlfriend decided that we would no longer be going there and start buying diamond art at Michael’s and Joanne’s again where at least if there ever is an issue they give full refund or exchange We had alot of plans for all the Christmas items and new tree we were going to purchase from them as well but now they have lost the business from us and multiple other family members who also feel that it is not ok to only get half your money back on a purchase when you work hard for your money and...

I am an artist and I love this place! Hallie in the framing department was amazing 😍...She did an awesome job getting my art framed for me, polite and very friendly...I will be back...ya don't get that kind of customer service anymore so thanks.

The only problem I have and why I only gave 4 * is because each time I came n went to check out you had 5 employees doing not a whole lot and each time I came in (2x) the people in front of me had crazy transactions and took forever, my question is why only one register when u have 5 people doing absolutely nothing??? That's the biggest issue I had coming to the store! Just wish they would be a bit more tentative on customers waiting in line because it was very time consuming and ridiculous...why have that many girls working up front if they're not going to check out customers in a timely fashion?!?! I am currently standing in line (going on about 8 minutes now) with two people behind me. One checkout open and 4 or 5 employees standing around chit chatting. This happens Every. Single. Time. I come into this hobby lobby. So this time I decided to share this review hoping management or owners will see and do sometime about it. Just very frustrating to see and endure consistently. Please figure this out Hobby...
