As far as I can tell, this is the supermarket that had the woman living in The sign. If she was not causing any trouble which it sounds like she really wasnât because they didnât even know she was there for a year and there were no fire hazards like bad extension cords, and nobody was doing anything that wouldâve like caused damage, I just think itâs a shame that they did not choose to pretend they did not know and just let her be, The country is so screwed up right now that people are living in signs. We have a problem. And no, itâs not liberals and itâs not Biden. Itâs the economic divide. The fact that corporations arenât being taxed. So, somebody finds a nice home in a sign and they get evicted. Iâm going to have to give you two stars because I really think you shouldâve left her alone. And for all the other supermarkets that might find people living in their signs, unless theyâre producing drugs or doing bad things, let them have their little place. If not, Get a place. You canât tell me that the supermarket could not have gotten this woman a studio apartment. Unless theyâre about to file chapter whatever they arenât that poor. They could have gotten her an apartment. So two stars. I donât know how the food is and I donât know how the Services is and all the other bit, but weâre just discussing the eviction of a peaceful sign living woman that obviously had no other place to go. And the âServicesâ that you get referred to are a joke. She probably ended up in a homeless shelter with bedbugs and feared for assault or something and or ended up back on the street. Itâs not cool what corporations are doing to humans and it makes no sense that we as humans are investing money in corporations through our IRAs, etc., that damage the planet and do not Support basic human needs. If you have an IRA through a company, look and see what youâre invested in and if youâre invested in big oil, take some control and do something please. Same thing for other companies that cause environmental damage my opinion and I hope some other people echo it. 2024 is coming up and I might not be able to give my opinion anymore after that without ending up in a place that I canât get out of. After all, one of the candidates has stated on many occasions that the media is the enemy of the country. So freedom of press and freedom of free speech may be gone very shortly and we may have one person in office for many years because I donât think weâll have another election If this one goes orange. Peace and Goodwill to all even the...
Read moreA complete disorganized mess. I would get DoorDash offers to shop here for other customers, and every time it took double or triple the time to find stuff. For some reason, the milk is in an aisle that you would not expect the Oreos are on the side of aisles, this store makes no sense at all. Itâs like it was organized by a 50-year-old woman who doesnât use data to put items in spots. Donât even get me started with the lack of bread stock, the meat quality, and now everything is always out of stock. They never have anything, and it majorly impacts my ratings as a DoorDash deliverer . Iâve went as far as to ask DoorDash to never give me offers from this store ever again. I am super disappointed, it takes way too long, and I swear they only ever have one check out open at a time. All this to say, I will not be ever going back there again, even if Iâm offered...
Read morePROS: Pretty good selection CONS: Potentially understaffed
The few times I have stopped at Family Fare (over the past few years, not just during COVID), I always find that there is usually only one lane open (maybe two lanes at 5:00 PM on a weeknight). While I have no problem using the self-checkouts when I have a handful of items as usually that is the fastest, when I have a basket of items or an item that requires store personnel to ring it up, I end up waiting in line usually fifteen minutes or more. In the time spent waiting in line, I could have driven to Meijer or Walmart instead and had a much bigger selection. If it wasn't for the convince of this being almost directly across from the hospital where I work, and my grandpa didn't have an obsession with the apple cider sold ONLY at this store, I would probably pass and hit up a...
