Creation Coffee — Restaurant in Midland

Never tried their food, this is about the girl who works there. I went there for the first time to grab a doordash order a few days ago and forgot the coffee on my way out; i know, embarassing. My mom committed suicide on Christmas day last year so it's been... rough. And it was my first order of the day after being told that my car transmission needs to be fixed, and all the lights in our house have gone out and we have been without power for over a week because it's going to take a lot of money and time and it's the holidays, etc. So. It's been absolutely horrible.We'll, I forgot the coffee like I said, and the boy behind the bar reminded me and then the customer (I think?) that was off to the side sitting and just chatting with him snorted and laughed at me. It was extremely embarrassing. I tried to make light of it but he just smirked at me... then I avoided all orders from the store after that interaction. I went back for a 15 dollar order yesterday and a girl who was there previously recognized me and told me she was sorry for me being laughed at and could see I was embarrassed. It made me feel much better. Thanks whoever you are for being nice after your coworker and his friend made fun of me, I'm truly just so...

Creation Coffee is a haven for true coffee lovers. When this place is at its best, it delivers some of the finest coffee you’ll ever taste—each cup feels like a work of art. If you're passionate about quality coffee, this place is a must-visit.

However, there’s a bit of inconsistency. The quality of your coffee experience can vary depending on the barista. On a good day, when you have a skilled barista behind the counter, the coffee is nothing short of amazing—bold, balanced, and crafted to perfection. Unfortunately, not every visit hits that high note. There are times when the coffee falls short, which can be disappointing if you’ve come to expect excellence.

Despite the occasional inconsistency, I still highly recommend stopping by Creation Coffee. When they get it right, the coffee is truly exceptional, and it’s worth taking the chance for that...

I ordered a small blended frappe with caramel. Oat milk was $1 extra. Sadly, I would never order this again. It was incredibly sweet and I prefer a sweet coffee drink. I've dined at many coffee shops but have never had a blended coffee like this. It was quite liquidy, much more like an iced coffee vs thick, creamy & smooth. It was also gritty in texture. I have no way to determine if this is how the drink is intended to turn out or if it was not made w/ correct quantities of ice, frappe powder, etc.

I also ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich with ham & cream cheese. This came to almost $10. The sandwich was very good and I would order it again.

I did make the mistake of purchasing a very overpriced sour cream donut. I paid over $3, twice the amount for a sour cream donut I could buy at Meijer for $1 & it tasted no different....
