I give the store itself a 4 star rating and also the gentleman that was working the morning shift today 6/7/23. Me and my husband went in lastnight 6/6/23 around 7:30-8pm. We had already looked online to make sure they had the game Watch Dogs 2 in stock , which the website said there was 3 in the store. We arrived at the store and upon opening the door the employee was sitting down having a conversation on his cell phone. Didn't bother to ask if we needed assistance , welcome us to the store or anything. He seemed like he had an attitude that we walked in. We looked around and found the case to the game but was told by the rude and lazy employee that the website inventory was for ALL stores in Midland and not just theirs. We were also told that the game was not in stock and we would have to order it. Anyone that knows anything about game stop knows that none of the games are kept in the cases , you need to go to the drawer to retrieve them. Not feeling like arguing we went home and proceeded to order the game and said we would go back in the morning to pick it up as scheduled. We returned in the morning with our order number and the guy that was working looked it up and went right to the drawer to grab it. I asked him if it was possible the game was there lastnight and he responded saying " yes , we have a few of them." We let him know what had occured the night before and the look on his face let me know right away that the guy working lastnight must be one they get complaints about often. He apologized for the experience and quickly got us checked out. THANK YOU TO THE MAN THAT HELPED US ! KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING ! HE IS DEFINITELY AN ASSET...

I paid for my items at 3:28 PM and was able to leave at 3:45 PM Their old faulty dinosaur equipment failed to print out a receipt. I verified and showed proof to them that the transaction had gone through on my bank account. I was told that I was not allowed to leave until they could print out a receipt, and if I left I was threatened to be charged with theft by William! They also know that we're a house divided (by gaming systems), so they keep us updated on our systems, updates, DC, and everything else we need. They even allow us to ship directly to our house, which is handy when you live 2+ hours away! In the past, they have even allowed us to call in an order and let family members pick up for us, which is a huge help when we're not expecting to be in town for a while.
