LaLonde's Market — Local services in Midland

Twice in a row ordered packaged fresh meat (that I pay extra to be vaccum sealed in the way I ask) and have gotten it frozen and packaged incorrectly. Having to make multiple trips, or just dealing with something you DON'T want, but are paying extra for, isn't acceptable in my opinion. I had to make 2 trips to get the fresh meat that I ordered, it was frozen... and I didn't get any sort of discount, besides taking of the packaging fee which I thought was the least they could do, especially after the second occurrence. 3 stars because the store has a somewhat unique selection, food usually looks quality and fresh, the store is clean, employees are friendly (for the most part..) however, I probably won't be back. I can find the same selection and much cheaper prices elsewhere without driving 10 minutes away and making multiple trips for consistent...

Wherever I am, I prefer to shop local, and I’d heard and read good things about LaLonde’s Market since moving to Midland for a teaching position. Thought I’d check it out. Glad I did, too. What a nicely laid out store with a wide variety of products: a fine meat, seafood and deli section, fruits and veggies, beer and wine at competitive prices (a Dave Matthews wine? R U kidding me?!? Gotta try that one, even if it is from Cali🤪). Well, I bought a few things, but the coolest part about the place? The folks working there, from Scott, the nice-as-can-be bossman, to the people behind the meat counter, to the young lady who was patient enuf to do price checks for me on multiple bottles of wine. Kudos to everyone at LaLonde’s, and we’ll be seeing ya’ll...

I liked them a lot, but now they have a bakery.

A really good one 🥰 The flavors are incredible. The chocolate chip will do ya, but Triple Berry anything is great, and their peanut butter cookies are the richest thing in town (sorry Dow).

My BMI isn't pleased, but my T-U-M-M-Y is thrilled.

A PLEA TO LALONDS* The only thing I want are variety packs.

All (as many) flavors of cookies that they make in one box.

Also, making a combo box of all the different items with the same flavor would be sweet. (Sorry)

Just make a box of triple berry cookies, muffins, & scones big enough for me to lay in, then just fill it up & I'll eat my way out...
