Weis Markets — Local services in Mifflinburg

I had one of the worst experiences today at the Weis in Mifflinburg PA. One register was opened. I get that you want us to use self checkout, but I assume you want to save paying cashier's, but I don't work for you and I shouldn't have to check myself out. As I'm waiting in line, 15 minutes plus all kinds of employees just walked by. Why can't a manager chip in when help is needed? So some little snot came over to boot a register up and told us it would take 5 minutes. Why can't a register be booted up and ready when needed? Anyway I could go on and on about how horrible the service was. And that little snot did nothing to help out and another manager? kept waking by and did NOTHING to help out. I dont go here often. To be honest I tend to shop at discount stores. But on days like today when I just needed bread, milk, and eggs on my way home from work at 7am, Weis is where I stop. Of course I picked up more than that because of their 50% off stickers that they throw on day old bread and items about to expire. I just freeze them. No crowds, no lines, no waiting around. Early morning is a shopper's paradise. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Friends & I came to stay in Mifflinburg, PA, we are from out of state. I will give 5 star ⭐️ Rating for ANYHONY, an employee whom offered to help load our groceries into the car, as my friend and I never experienced this hospitality, we truly appreciated it! ANTHONY- the employee at this location, was very helpful inside the store as well offered to assist w/ any questions or items.
