Don’t order from here through Uber Eats or any other delivery service. The restaurant staff is very rude and unprofessional. They do not verify the couriers coming in are picking up the correct orders. I ordered priority delivery on the lunch special and the restaurant staff member made an error and allowed the driver to pick up additional orders that were not assigned to them. All Uber Eats did was refund my order. The staff member would not honor the lunch special price and wouldn’t even as much as give an apology. She stated they use multiple food delivery companies and it gets busy. Since they do not have good processes in place to participate with delivery service companies. Anyone can walk in and pick up multiple orders and the actual consumers will just be left waiting for their food, hungry, disappointed, and left with a very sour taste in their mouth from this very unprofessional restaurant. I ordered the four-piece chicken dinner with collard greens and mac n' cheese, and let me tell you, it was an absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was cooked to Perfection! Crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. You could tell the seasoning was on point, with just the right balance of flavor that had me going back for more with every piece.

The collard greens were flavorful. They were rich, savory, and had the perfect amount of seasoning. You know you’ve found something special when the greens are this good. The mac n’ cheese was Creamy and cheesy. The portion sizes were generous, and I definitely left full and satisfied. First time patron at this establishment. I went on a referral from my daughter who had been there once before and I was not disappointed. All female owned (not that it makes a difference but very cool nonetheless) greeted as I walked in with a smile and a positive friendly attitude. Seems they made great use of the limited space as it is take out only just to give a heads up. I ordered what my daughter had last time she was there (wings with potato salad and and collard greens) and we ate at the nearest park. The food was what you expect from a soul food place. For me and my taste buds it was great. I wish I had gotten the smothered turkey wings (my daughter's order this time) but I will be back to test other things...
