I Walked in and was greeted and brought to my table. Once seated I was very disappointed as the (manager) was berating and belittling one of his woman employees in front of everyone- ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR! The service was terrible as I waited for about 15 minutes before a sever came to take my drink order. I ordered a double of Jameson Whiskey, once my drink arrived, it was definitely not Jameson and whatever it was it was watered down! Once the food arrived things got a little more complicated as the scallops were very fishy (NOT GOOD), the risotto was like oatmeal definitely not fresh. I also ordered several other items to include the “Short Ribs) which is not a short rib at all, it’s basically a pot roast with BBW sauce on it- IT SUCKED! Not to mention a piece of the food on my plate was bitten off of. I brought this to the managers attention, who immediately comped my meal, however, I advised I did not want my meal comped and I was not leaving until they reviewed the camera footage to see who ate food off of my plate that was served to me, the manager refused and told us to leave the meal was free. I advised that I would pay double for the meal upon review of the camera footage from the kitchen and the manager refused! I then proceeded to find the woman server that was behind the bar the manager was being disrespectful too proceed to give her $100 for having to deal with the manager and several employees, approximately 4-5 men began to surround me and push me out of the establishment. Once I told one of the men to not touch me again he proceeded to chest bump me and I’m now going to make a police report as I was assaulted for being served the crappiest meal I’ve ever had, with some of the most terrible service to go with it. I would highly advise not to ware your time or hard earned money at this establishment when you most assuredly have much greater options available! The manager was working the evening shift on 5/11/2024 (Short, heavyset,...
Read moreI have nothing but all good things to say in reference to this wondeful place and the owner and his very friendly accommodating staff. I was put in a horrible situation by another restaurant ( which is down the street and has a water view,( Depending on who you speak to and what lies you are told) Of which I will gladly give a big fat 0! across the board!). After planning my daughters Bridal shower for 35 people, Well in advance ( 3 MONTHS PRIOR!).I placed a 500$ cash deposit down on THE OTHER PLACE ( more than required). I was promised the dinning room with a water front view so the girls did a nauticul theme. Due to my work schedule I arrived to THE OTHER PLACE 24 hours before the shower gave another 500$ and the whole story changed! They double booked us! and wanted to put up a partion and set us against a WALL with no view of ANYTHING but picture frames. My throat was tight, I was so tired. I had no choice but to call my future son in law and my daughter to come to my aide. After a series of lie after lie. I finally got back 967$ ( after giving 1,000$ in cash) half was in a check that took 10 days to clear my account! . I had 24 HOURS to find a venue for all these people! With my poor hysterical daughter in the car. BRIDGE HOUSE TO THE RESCUE!!! I can not say enough nice things about the owner who immediatly put us both at ease. A very genuine man. His staff who were very, very friendly, professional, timely and effcient. The ambiance was just lovely! and perfect! The food delicious! The service perfect. I recieved so many compliments on how comfortable and just perfect her Bridal shower was. I suggest them for a nice night out, a gathering with friends or any event you may need to plan. THANK YOU BRIDGE HOUSE! You will forever have our business and...
Read moreJust left this restaurant after a reception honoring a dear friend who recently passed.
We were downstairs where everything was nicely arranged and a special table for flowers along with many photos, photo albums, and distinguishing honors for our dear, sweet Alba. Memorabilia sent me way back in time.
For this event, there was a cash bar. The setup was buffet style offering choices of chicken breast sauteed in a delicate white wine and lemon butter sauce, meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, sauteed green beans, roasted cauliflower (lightly seasoned) and select garden fresh green salad. Coffee and a variety of teas were offered.
Everything I tried was delicious, properly prepared and succulent. I am a coffee drinker. Their coffee was also delicious and hot as it should be.
I had not eaten at this restaurant before today. I spoke with one of the "owners", John, afterwards. He made quite an impression on me. Such a courteous and thoughtful person. A real pleasure to speak with. I enjoyed reminiscing about the positive changes that have taken place at these types of events. The celebration of ones life while sharing great memories vs a somber more reserved atmosphere where people whisper.
Thank you, John from Mary a new customer. I appreciate your thoughtful staff, who were very attentive.
May your business continue to thrive and prosper. I look forward to dining here in the near future.
I highly recommend...
