Ordered a full dining room set in April, table and chairs arrived damaged in November and the buffet arrived flawed a few weeks later. After dealing with customer service transferring me to a number of departments, finally ordered replacements and 2 months later we got another damaged table and buffet. The table base is cracked again and the buffet was cracked in a spot that looks like it was repaired from previous damage not to mention a spider nest was on the bottom. Three different tables and two different buffets yet they still can’t send 100% intact furniture (now it’s December 27). The delivery service say this is common with Arhaus and they often take furniture back to the warehouse. Customer service must be overwhelmed with issues because I get transferred at least 3 times each time I call. Currently on the phone for almost an hour arranging a final return of all the furniture. We will spend the extra money to get a new set from Restoration Hardware, saving with an option from Arhaus is not worth it.
UPDATE 1 MONTH LATER: Spent less money on a table and buffet from Restoration Hardware (had a sale) and it came 3 days after we ordered it, in perfect condition. Arhaus decided to only take back the buffet and not the table so we had small banquet hall in our house with 2 dining room tables for 2 weeks.
I was finally refunded after they took the table back however over $2000 short. Spoke to Lisa H and she said she would speak to her manager and call me back that day, a week went by until I called her directly to follow up. She responded by telling me that they did find the issue…she just failed to get back to me. I was told we would not be charged for shipping, we finally got the refund for everything but the shipping fee.

Read moreA disappointing experience that contradicts Arhaus’s brand values.
I have always appreciated the effort Arhaus puts into building its brand culture, something I truly resonate with and am willing to support as a customer. My past experiences at various Arhaus locations have been exceptional, with considerate sales associates who planned every step of my purchase and delivery, and professional installation teams.
However, the Short Hills store was a complete letdown. The staff were cold and dismissive, caring only about whether I was making a purchase rather than providing a welcoming experience. When I lightly touched a hanging chandelier to feel its material, a salesperson rudely and loudly told me, “Hey, be careful! Don’t touch it! It will fall!” With a reaction that was both unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive.
Arhaus invests so much effort into cultivating a brand that prioritizes thoughtful design and customer experience, yet this store’s staff completely undermines that vision. Their attitude is short sighted and damages the brand’s reputation, losing loyal customers in the process.
If you want the true Arhaus experience, I’d recommend visiting other locations. Short Hills is not worth your time. Experiences like this make customers reconsider their loyalty, if this is the level of service can expect, maybe should have gone...
Read moreWorked with the Arhaus in Short Hills Mall, NJ this past spring. It was a very positive experience - both in terms of sales and design help, delivery and quality of furniture. Specifically, Steve and Rana were FANTASTIC. Our goal was to re-do both a primary bedroom and a great or living room. While we had ideas we weren't certain on sizes, fabric, etc. Steve and Rana worked as a team to help design both rooms with a selection of furniture that turned each room into beautiful, classy and functional spaces. The total purchase was approx 30 pieces of furniture so there were many moving parts and a lot to get right. Additionally, Rana suggested 2 paint colors - one for each room, that worked perfectly with the furniture. Delivery took ~ 3+ months, but we were told that would be the case, so no issues there. With over 30 pieces we had two issues that were both resolved to our satisfaction by an attentive customer service team. Without a doubt, the team of Steve and Rana at Short Hills, NJ Arhaus should be your "go-to" for any furniture needs. And after only a few months, all furniture is as hoped. Quality, color,...
