I had a really great experience with the team here. It's the perfect balance between being a small chain with personal attention and being large enough to have the selection you want.

I was looking for a specific size, color, and clarity for an engagement ring diamond (natural diamond). They were able to find and bring in that exact spec but also a few others that were similar so I could compare which was really helpful. For the actual ring setting, my girlfriend wanted a particular setting that they didn't have in store here but Ed, the manager knew it was offered in their NYC location. He called ahead to the manager there and arranged an appt. for us. The following week, we went to that location and they were all ready for us. They showed us the one she wanted, took down the details and handled everything back with the Short Hills location. It was very seamless. The diamond and setting took a couple weeks, our sales leads Lisa and Fran kept me updated the whole way and Lisa showed me every angle of the ring under multiple lighting conditions when I picked it up. Gary the other manager also helped me look at the diamond under the scope to check the laser inscription and confirm it was mine.

Another thing is the regular jewelry, they do both natural and lab-grown diamonds. Originally I just came here for the engagement ring and I had ordered my girlfriend a pair of small lab-grown diamond studs from James Allen, an online retailer, for her birthday a few months earlier. I ended up returning the studs because even though they were supposed to be E VS1 diamonds, they were very cloudy and didn't shine. I figured I would see if London could find something better but I thought maybe lab-grown just aren't as shiny. Ed sourced a pair of lab-grown diamond earrings for me that were about the same specs as the ones I got online. I picked them up and was really surprised by the difference, they were far more shiny than the ones I got before. Lisa helped me compare them to natural diamonds and I think there is still a very slight difference where natural is better but the labs were much lower price and it was totally worth it.

Overall I was super impressed by the whole experience and not only for the natural diamond engagement ring, but they also beat out an online lab-grown retailer on earrings. Disappointing service and a delusional unprofessional salesperson. I visited the Manhasset store and saw a Rolex 1675 vintage watch. The nice and professional sales rep was supposed to call me back to confirm if the watch came with papers. I never got the call back. Over the weekend I was at the Short Hills store. I walked in with my wife and asked the first sales person if they could find out about the Watch. She said No. She said that I had to contact the Manhasset store directly. I said OK no problem. My wife and I proceeded to walk in the store with this sales person following us. While talking with my wife, the sales person interrupted us and asked if we wanted to drink water. We thanked her and said no. She again interrupted us and asked if we wanted coffee. We thanked her and said no. My wife wanted to show me something that she is interested in and was talking to me, again she interrupted us in the middle of the conversation and we politely said no to whatever she was trying to say. Again, my wife tried to explain to me and for the last time she interrupted us in a middle of a conversation for like the 4th time in less than a minute. I just walked out because this sales person did not know basic manners. There is a correct time to approach the customer. It is not nice or professional to continuously interrupt people. Salespeople at a high end place like this should have a little more intelligence and stop being so aggressive. We would have asked for her help and assistance if...

I had an amazing experience at London Jewelers, and I can't recommend them enough—especially Julia, who helped us create the perfect ring for my mother-in-law’s 60th birthday. I often visit the Manhasset location because of the watch boutique next door, but after the exceptional service we received from Julia, I was more than happy to drive my family to the Short Hills location, even though it’s a longer trip. From the moment we stepped into the boutique, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality and even offered refreshments right away—something you don’t often experience unless you're a regular customer or making a major purchase. Despite being located inside a shopping mall, where space can limit what's on display, Julia went above and beyond. Although they didn’t have exactly what we were looking for, she showed us similar styles based on our vision. She guided us through selecting the gems and the band, and within about three weeks, London Jewelers had assembled the ring. The result? It honestly turned out even better than expected—possibly the best-looking piece in the boutique, in my opinion—because it was exactly what we had imagined.
