I have no idea where to start about this. However, based on the experience I had at this Chanel I had to express what I experienced at this store. First the people are the door are very welcoming.
I've been in this store several times purchased items also so I'm no newbie to this store. This would be the last time I come in here. I can't remember the stylist consultant name but that isn't the importance of this review. (this review should be read by all staff members actually all staff members should read all reviews good or bad for improvement purposes)
So I know its Christmas time everything is super packed and busy I'm pretty understandable. The Consultant I had today was behind disrespectful, un-delightful, and almost repulsive. As a women of color, I cant believe the demeanor I was met with once discussing items that I liked and prices. I'm also on the " younger side" so I felt that she didn't listen to anything I said in other words I cant afford anything in here. First I wanted a pair of glasses, I asked her how many are in the store she proceeds to lie to me saying its " this is the last one 1 " but Chanel online website its FULLY in stock in every location including Short Hills. This was my strike 1.
Strike 2: I decided to look into sneakers and boots mostly sneakers cause why not. I asked her for a specific pair and she goes " we don't have any of that actually we don't have any shoes in here that fit your size " Me : ???? How do you even know my shoe size because that was not the first question nor comment I said. The first comment was do you have this style. As I glimpse the wall I go shoe by shoe picking up different shoes and asking for my size she pays me no mind and proceeds to roll her eyes and uses her ipad and says we don't have nothing in your size. I repeated her statement of " Nothing on this wall has my size? this is a whole wall full of shoes?" she starts stuttering like once again sounds like she is lying. To my surprise a women sitting trying on a shoes is the same size as me with several shoes aside for her to try on.... She was snappy towards me so I started to be snappy towards her in front of customers! Which is highly rude and highly disrespectful (Yes they did hear the whole conservation and side eyed her.) As someone who is an avid shopper I look under each shoe and surprise! I find a size that may fit she goes " Well you can't purchase these they are not the correct size (keep in mind its just a half size smaller I would've been fine) she proceeds to say you might as well just leave and go to Nordstrom ill find you your size" This ticked me off by the way she said it as in you don't belong in here go somewhere else. So I'm waiting for her to tell me my size is in stock she proceeds to say " Oh have a nice day" which in other words mean leave the store. She didn't check if the shoe was in stock in Nordstrom btw. I left the store very upset and in disbelief by the treatment. I've never EVER experienced something like that I will not be returning back. I was going to go back and speak to a manager but looking at these comments it seems like a waste of time. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A...
Read moreI recently had an unfortunate experience at a Chanel boutique that has left me extremely dissatisfied and frustrated. As a loyal customer of luxury brands and an admirer of Chanel's reputation for quality and elegance, I expected nothing less than exceptional service and product quality. However, the encounter I had with Chanel employees was far from what I had anticipated.
I made a substantial investment in a Chanel handbag, valuing it at $7,000, which, by any measure, should represent the epitome of luxury craftsmanship. To my dismay, the bag exhibited a noticeable issue with the chain just one day after my purchase. I couldn't help but question how such a high-end product could deteriorate so rapidly under normal usage. I have never encountered such problems with any other designer bags I own, which are subjected to similar handling and wear.
My attempt to address this issue with Chanel employees was met with incredible rudeness and a complete lack of empathy. Instead of acknowledging the problem and offering a satisfactory solution, I was told that the damage must have been my fault, insinuating that I was responsible for the issue. This response was not only unprofessional but also deeply disappointing.
I understand that accidents can happen with any product, even luxury ones, but what left me deeply dissatisfied was the dismissive attitude of the employees. When one invests in a Chanel product, they expect a certain level of quality and a customer-oriented approach in the event of any issues. This experience was a stark departure from the high standards I believed Chanel stood for.
To potential Chanel customers, I caution you to exercise extra caution and to scrutinize the condition of your purchases thoroughly. My hope is that this review can serve as a cautionary tale for those considering a substantial investment in Chanel products. Luxury brands are not solely defined by their products, but also by the service they provide to their customers. In this regard, my experience with Chanel has fallen far short of my expectations, and it is with great disappointment that I write...
Read moreI went to the store to buy bag and accessories but the one by the door did not allow me and my friends. Another sales rep came to us and took my name and told us to wait for 20mins. We were told that i will be receiving a text message once we can get in. My friends and i waited for 1hour 15mins but still no text notification was received so i went to the female “guard” to ask when can we get in. She didn’t allow us because according to her, there are people ahead of us in the store. We saw the people who were behind us in the line before, getting out already from the store and they’re letting other people get in but not us so i asked the guard why did she allow them to go inside while we were waiting for more than an hour. The female guard told us that if we want to get it, we better call first or request appointment online. And she ignored us afterwards and continued letting other people in. We were so disappointed by the way we were treated in this store. I’ve been shopping at Rodeo Drive in California but i never experienced such treatment. Was it because we weren’t wearing anything expensive during that time while those they allowed to get it were well dressed? I never knew that there is a dress code when we go to high end stores. When we were leaving, the male sales rep who took my name before ran to us to tell us to come back and wait for another 20mins. How can i wait for 2hours for just a bag if i can buy it from other stores for merely 15-20mins? We just left and never went back to that store. We just felt discriminated.. I experienced this also in Dior Store in New York by The Edge. so every time i want to shop something, either i go to Rodeo drive or Beverly Center in LA. They have better costumers service there. I live in the East Coast but I shop in LA because East coast store employees are...
