I like honest and realistic reviews. My boys have gone to vintage clipper on and off when they were in New Holland. Always delivered. I just moved to the Millersville area and was hype for familiarity. I took a chance-that I knew might not be what I want so I'm not mad or upset. This is constructive.
Angel was a nice guy. Very enthused about his work. He's young and of good character. (Very valuable in my book) This is my first time in the shop as a woman (because my husband would usually take my boys). It's a good christian atmosphere. Down to earth, lots of laughing and joking- typical barbershop full of guys.
I booked with Angel because of reviews and seeing some of his work on IG. I'm particular about my hair. My edges are thin and I already had a short cut. Blending was the key. When you cut a woman it needs to look soft and not masculine. I asked for something like a high box fade, showed pictures and was specific- I'm not an expert on the lingo but it seems the assignment was understood. I didn't even get close to what I asked for. It looks super masculine and he couldn't resist trying to shape me up boxy in the front. He did his best. I'm not one to be quiet about my expectations so I jokingly tried to guide on what I wanted and didn't. He asked lots of questions and delivered to his best ability. He was very confident. Overall the shop was welcoming. Angel was a very sweet guy and I would give him another chance (because I know what it's like to be young and starting out) but for $46 in this economy I need you to be honest say I can't do that and not waste my money or time. For that I took one star.
First picture is my previous cut. Middle is what I asked for. I actually asked for the exact same cut I had last (in the picture) Last two are what I got. It's okay if I'm 16. But I'm twice Angel's age with 6 kids and I...

I received great service by a young man named Angel. If you're in the area or even a little further away, his attention to detail, professionalism & upbeat personality are worth the trip to experience.
The mark of a true professional, in any field, is when an individual is consistently able to subtly steer their clients towards a particular product or specific service that they innately know, through their developed experience in their industry, will produce a long lasting & desirable outcome in spite of their client's oftentimes inexperienced initial requests. This young man exemplified such refinement while only possessing a couple of years of experience in his chosen industry. Angel is clearly headed in a positive direction professionally.

Read moreEasily the worst haircuts I received. First off I asked for a fade on the side, but it’s uneven, one side is longer than the other. He also decided to do my eyebrows and COMPLETELY MESSED THEM UP, shaved off one side more than the other. He should do everyone a favor and never touch up anyone’s eyebrows again. I don’t know how it’s possible but I left the store with a horrible haircut and messed up eyebrows, first thing everyone noticed was how bad the cut was. Now I gotta wait a couple of months till my brows grow and have to shell out some more money at another barbershop who can actually cut hair, I think I can do a better job by watching a...
