I’ve seen this place before sadly due to their hours it’s been hard to get a chance to check it out due to my work schedule. However, I am so thankful they’re open on Sunday! My sister-in-law and her fiancé were visiting my husband and I, so we decided to go here Sunday around 11-12. It’s a small little shop, but very nice and the staff are very welcoming. It’s definitely family owned which makes it even better no chain restaurant. They serve breakfast and lunch all day! We all ended up getting breakfast I got the graduate, my sister in law got a breakfast burrito and added bacon, my husband got the steak burrito and pancakes, and my soon to be brother in law got three eggs over easy, bacon, and fries. Everything came out at a decent time and was so amazing. I ended up getting the CJ sauce on the side of my sandwich but next time I will definitely get it with the sauce. I was worried the sauce would be too spicy to me because I’m sensitive to spicy things. However the one girl did mention it wasn’t too spicy and she was right. The pancakes were also so fluffy and amazing. I also love the sign they have inside which says fast food isn’t good and good food isn’t fast! I will definitely be back the food was amazing and the the restaurant did not disappoint. Trust and believe the good reviews and the fact they have 4.9 stars there’s definitely a reason! They know how to serve...
Read moreWhat a GEM! The family operating the café is so sweet. My boyfriend found the spot and reccomeneded we try it out. We were NOT disappointed. We went at around 9 am today (Sunday), and we were the only ones there at first. By the time we left, there were at least 15-20 people. We both ordered the hangover burritos, I ordered a chai with almond milk, and he had a signature drink, which was the campfire smores latte. All of the items were delicious! As we were eating, one of the ladies brought out some homemade salsa. It was labeled hot, but for him growing up in a Mexican household and me spending a lot of time with his family, we found it to be a medium spice level. The flavor of the sauce was phenomenal. The CJ sauce that comes with the hangover burrito was also amazing. It is a creamy base, chili powder forward taste, with a hint of salsa to round it out. Our order was $45 with the tip, which was expensive to me. However, you can not beat the quality of food you are getting here. It is worth the price. I've lived in the area my whole life and never knew Cacuts Café existed, but I'm glad we know it does now! We're excited to come back and try...
Read moreCute little place but I was very disappointed in the food, especially for the price point. We love going out for tacos, whether it be food trucks, sit down or a friend's house so I was ecstatic to see carne Asada tacos and chicken tinga tacos on the menu to try. They were both pretty disappointing... not a lot of flavor, even the corn tortillas were bland. I ordered 3 and they were around $5 each. I couldn't even get through two full tacos because it just wasn't doing it for me. At that price for tacos i just expected to at least enjoy them a little bit. The cafe was cute and service was amazing so will try again one day maybe. My family had some breakfast items, nothing was out of this world but the cinnamon roll toasted in butter was good enough to have another time with a coffee. It was also a little unclear if it was a place you leave your dishes at the table at or pick up somewhere? And while I love a hot sauce bar, the condiment area could use some tlc, it just seemed like an after thought and the bottles weren't really clean so it was not...
