Mo and Rat are not only incredible, creative and talented people with an eye for art and history, but they provide wonderful customer service and can find anything you need if you're looking for something unique. My gift to myself last year was a flip top Zippo and Mo hooked it up with a 1990s Y2K era one, and was always happy to refill the fluid for me because I didn't know how. It's been dry for a while now but I still keep that thang on me as a souvenir because I love the art on it āŗļø
Go stop in for all your smoking and tobacciana needs, get a unique lighter or anything from his amazing selection- and if you want to buy a Djente original- Mo was the only person who believed my art was cool enough last year- even though I wasn't even really confident in my own work- to put up in his shop and he has a decoupage mirror for purchase. If that's out of your price range or you can't get a new fancy lighter, Rat makes a really accessible line of little decoupage and super humorous adult lighters that make wonderful holiday gifts if you have friends who might appreciate a laugh.
Wonderful entrepreneurs who sincerely get to know their customers and provide both a great shopping experience and an impeccably curated selection.
When, if ever this state opens up the rec market, I hope Mo is first in line to get his license because his vision is something to be celebrated and uplifted as an iconic Pittsburgh entrepreneur and he knows quality in both art and his entire selection. Sassy is sensational, and Shaina lives on forever in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBest smoke/pipe shop in Pittsburgh, hands down! Mo, the owner, is super kind and helpful and always hooks it up for me when Iām in. His selection of glass pipes is constantly rotating- every time Iām there, thereās new pieces, so I always stop by when Iām in the area just to see whatās new. He also has a big selection of rolling papers, accessories, and some really unique glassware that you canāt find anywhere else in PGH. He also sells a ton of artwork/mercy featuring work by local artists which I love. All of his walls are filled with murals from local artists - itās super funky and constantly evolving.
Also you have to check out his build your own bong area - you can customize your own with different colors, patterns + styles using the brand Prism. Heās the only smoke shop in Pittsburgh doing it!!
Finally, my favorite part is the Gumball Machines - for varying prices you can win some seriously bomb prices - I played once and won some CBD flower, but you can even score things that donāt fit inside the gumball machine itself.
Definitely worth stopping in - say hey to Mo (or Lydia!)...
Ā Ā Ā Read more4-20 was my first time at this business and definitely my last. Thought about giving 2/3 stars because some of the pipes were nice but I am for sure not returning. My friend hyped this place up and I thought āwell, what better day than 4-20ā. When we both walked in, there was maybe one other person shopping and two employees. We were not greeted even though the one employee looked right up at us. We were browsing some glass towards the front and my friend picked something up and was immediately acknowledged and then scolded! The employee then proceeded to say āglass is on saleā and walked away before we could even ask about it. We werenāt told of any sales or anything even as we were browsing. As we approached the counter, one of the employees sat at the table next to the register not even looking up from their phone. We stood at the register for a good 5 minutes before they looked up and said anything. Absolutely poor customer service. There was some cool stuff in there for a decent price and I hate to bash a small business but man what a...
