Warning… Long review… The campground itself was ok. The one staff person we had contact with was horrible. I believe her name was Liz. She was a twenty-something who clearly wanted to be anywhere but where she was. We pulled in and stopped right out front where you’re supposed to. When she was able to pull herself away from whatever she wasn’t supposed to be doing on the computer, she had no idea really how to get us checked in. We had paid for an electric only site. This is normally is the easiest sites to put someone in. Tell person where to get water, where the dump station is and have a nice day. In & out. When we asked her where we could get water from she looked completely confused like she couldn’t understand why we would need water. Her response…”Water? Well I don’t know about that. I JUST work here!” I asked if she was new and she said no. We suggested that the water might be at the dump station. Again another confused look. I asked if she knew where the dump station was and her response AGAIN… “ hmmm, don’t know. I JUST work here!” Finally gives us our site. We drive around to it and there is an 18 wheeler mobile surgery parked in our spot plus the 4 spots next to it and 2 cars next to that. Tried to call office so we didn’t have to drive back around and no answer 3 times so I walk back over to the office and as I walk in she is again playing on the computer while the phone is ringing. I asked which number is a good one to call for problems (there were 3 listed) she pointed to one and I asked if that’s the same one to the line that was ringing right now and she said yes. (Oh and she never did answer the phone the whole time I was there and it rang 4 times) I explained the situation and she said she didn’t know anything about that and I kid you not said for the THIRD time “I JUST work here!” She put me in a spot a few spots down. Meanwhile the hubby is in a temp spot filling our fresh water tank. I walk back over to the site and it has a vehicle in it that obviously belonging to one of the campers parked on either side of it. One camper had 2 vehicles so basically taking up 3 spots and the other had one so taking up 2 spots AND the spot would not have fit our rig & truck which was why the rigs already there had parked in the adjacent spot. Back to the office and now I want a manager. She disgustingly picks up the phone, dials a number and sighs repeatedly since no one picks up. I said “hmmm. Guess you know how it feels now huh?” She then says she’ll upgrade us to a bigger and better site. So after 30 mins of back and further we got “upgraded” to an uneven, on a hill, gravel lot with electric & water. We had to level the rig up so high it took us 15 mins to get unhitched. I would never stay here again and EVER nor to I recommend this place to anyone! The guy we talked to to make the reservation was so nice (Luke) I just knew it was gonna be great. Too bad he wasn’t at...
Read moreStayed for Indycar 2024 race. 30 amp spot area had several rv’s where tow trucks were parked in drive lane, and encroaching on my spot such that arrival was difficult to back in. Fortunately other side was a smaller popup camper and across lane spot unoccupied so had on front and far side a tad of maneuvering space else the violator on other turn in side I would have not been able to park. Exit I decided because of the space violator on one side to exit the opposite/wroung direction flow to avoid accident of hitting their full pickup bed sized tow truck with bumper overhanging my spot corner. Those occupants also had a dog on about 25 foot tether and they allowed dog to urinate everywhere including the shared electric post ewww. Dog barked a lot during stay even went under my rv and once was scratching or something to my rv and owner yelled at it. That pickup truck left its bed cap top door open at night and day plus most of day liftgate open when they were on site so it extended over my lot as well. They obviously were not caring for their property as they left rv storage bay door open and its contents in full view the entire stay even overnight. When I checked in the clerk asked my name as if checking me in and someone else already had paperwork printed for my reservation so were ready for campers. If I ever stay here again, would choose a different area as others with more amenities had spaces plus extra marked gap separating from adjacent parking spot whereas 30 amp only no gap. Couldn’t tell this when reserving on line. Only one dump station in location that would require you to drive down a parking lane which was partially blocked by tow trucks parked in labe and no one enforced rules. Could have been fire code violation don’t know if fire truck could drive thru. Office only open normal business hours not late evening so not rv traveler accommodating for evening arrivals this isn’t printed on reservations only check in and out times. Website facilities photos obviously when new as now older and roofline gutter damaged in at least one spot. Did not notice constant frequent security patrol. Saw a...
Read moreNice big area! Overall was very accommodating. PROS: •They allow dogs & accommodate that as well, there are areas on location to take your dog potty. There are nearby dumpsters to dispose of waste also. There's plenty of room to walk your dog & if weather permits or u like to explore there's a walking path just outside of park to walk with/w/o your dog. They provide a locked lobby with laundry, showers as well as a men's & women's toilet (where showers are located). There's snack & beverage machines located inside & outside the office building where the laundry, showers & toilet is & a freezer loaded with ice available for purchase. In the laundry room there's 6 washers & dryers reasonably priced & there's also a water fountain equipped with a plastic bottle refill built in & there's also a change machine in the laundry room. CONS: The office seems a little unorganized & the prices are a bit high in regards to the location. It's located in a spot of high traffic making it pretty noisy. It's based in a parking lot scene essentially creating a park & ride theme with not too much of a scenery or view. If you're a social traveler don't anticipate making any new friends here ppl tend to keep to themselves. Although they provide plenty trash bins some dumpsters are a bit too close to where the RVs are parked. The restroom/showers are convenient but they aren't always very clean, I suggest u wear your shower shoes to...
