We have tried to remain loyal to this small-town theater over the years since Fandango went into business, but recently it has really taken a dive. They closed the ticket windows, so you wait in a long line to buy tickets and then another one to buy snacks. The teens who work there have not been trained to understand what customer service actually means. They spend more time on their phones than doing their job. One of their theaters or projectors (never really could understand what the problem was) broke last week, but instead of changing the website or the phone message to reflect the issue and the cancellation of the movie--then the change in time--they just let all of the people waiting to see that movie (the last one being shown for the day) wait in line and find out it was cancelled upon reaching the window. Went to the theater on August 24th, 2019 for an 8:40pm show. By 9:05pm, the movie had not started and there were commercials on the screen. Ended up walking out and asking for passes to return at another time. Read moreThis is my hometown and I live right down the street from Ironwood Cinema 8 and it's a really comfortable theatre and always has all the movies in 3D and 2D...Sometimes it gets kinda cold in the theaters but if you have a jacket it's all good. It has friendly service and reasonable prices and I always like getting the large popcorn and large drink because I can get a refill to bring home.
