This review is a year late but the time really does fly like everyone says!! We are SO grateful to have found Blooma. After we switched providers and were planning to have our baby at Willow, we decided we definitely wanted to have a doula to support both me and my husband. We set up a meeting with Jess and Sarah and we immediately felt safe, welcomed and could feel the comfort we would end up having throughout the process just from their presence alone. We got off the zoom meeting and we both knew we were going to go with Blooma! We were able to text any questions we had throughout pregnancy. As we neared the end, we had two separate meetings (one with Jess and one with Sarah), where they came to our home and we were able to get to know them more. We enjoyed our time with them so much and could've hung out for hours. They had wonderful recommendations and both were calming to my brain (and I was pretty anxious/having a hard time sleeping due to overactive thoughts at night so any calm at this point was greatly appreciated). I was in labor for days and Jess was able to come over and relieve my husband to help with comfort measures, had great recommendations for us to get things moving, and was reassuring the entire time. We were so happy we decided to get a doula!! Having someone who was like a calming balm to the situation - there were times we probably would've gone in thinking it was time when it really wasn't yet. And she was reassuring, letting me know that my body was doing everything it was supposed to do and everything would be okay. I really needed to hear that after days in labor. Having Jess with us through the process and then with us at Willow, was like having a best friend with us the whole time. When baby girl was almost here, I remember just wanting my husband and Jess to be right there with me - they both made me feel like I could do anything and they were both there to support me. I honestly felt like Jess was able to share her calm with me energetically. Through the intensity I was able to feel peace. I've meant to write this review for over a year now (our baby girl just turned one on 3/24). We are SO grateful for Jess! No words are able to truly explain it but if someone is reading this that is on the fence about getting a doula - I highly recommend you do. My husband and I still talk about it and will always talk about how it made the biggest difference. THANK YOU Jess, Sarah, and Blooma (we took a few classes at Blooma too which I highly recommend) - thank you for providing so much under your umbrella of all the important things - we will forever remember this and will be forever grateful. So much love to you all! <3 the Smith fam

Why doesn’t google have 10 stars because the Blooma Doulas deserve way more! We didn’t have a doula for our first baby and regret that. I thought my supportive husband and family would be enough. But for our second, I wanted MORE. Having Jess Quinn and Sarah Longacre in our corner was an added layer of love. I felt so nurtured from the start of interviews, through our postpartum visit and beyond. I now consider these women my friends, especially Jess who was by my side through some of the toughest moments. Pregnancy is hard. Labor is hard. Birth is hard. Postpartum is hard. Do yourself a favor and hire this incredible team to make it easier…and way more fun! If we ever have a third pregnancy/kid in the future, they are the first ones I’m calling.

Meagan and Shiana were fabulous. I called them for SO MANY QUESTIONS during pregnancy and postpartum. They always answered - day or night - and made us feel like their most important clients. The suggestions they provided such as when to see a chiropractor, when i should go to the hospital during labor, and when we needed to contact peds for our new baby are all incredibly helpful. Yes, they are expensive, but I would pay DOUBLE to have them again. They were that great!

I just had my first baby and now I’m convinced you only need 3 things for pregnancy: comfy bras, stretchy leggings, and Blooma!

Prenatal yoga became a staple for me and my favorite way to move my body. Friday classes with Jennifer were my favorite! Yoga helped me learn how to connect my movement to my breath and cope with different (uncomfortable) sensations. Throughout labor, I found myself using breath and different strategies I learned in yoga to keep going!

The childbirth, comfort measures, lactation, and CPR classes helped us feel more confident in our decision making and understanding of the overall process. We left each class feeling empowered and our fears melted away.

The pregnancy centering series with Amanda helped me connect with other soon-to-be mamas and helped me uncover my true feelings about the pregnancy process. Our group still stays in touch and it’s so fun to see everyone’s babies and exchange tips!

My prenatal massage with Gretchen was incredible. It was the most relief that I felt throughout the process and she had so many helpful suggestions that I brought with me throughout the final weeks of pregnancy, and even into the delivery room.

Meagan was our doula and absolutely shined in the delivery room. She had so many tricks up her sleeve and acted as a backbone for both my husband and I. I truly don’t know how we could have done it without her! She was supportive of my birth wishes and helped us maintain a cozy, calm environment.

Now postpartum, we’ve received lactation support from Kayla! She’s been great at providing recommendations and keeping in touch. Next week, I start the motherhood series!

We went all-in on Blooma, and I’m so glad we did. The community is unmatched and I would recommend it to anyone embarking on their...

Blooma was amazing throughout my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum experience. We took several parenting classes there, including topics such as breastfeeding, infant sleep, safety/CPR/choking, cloth diapering and more. We also hired a birth doula, Jess Quinn, who was actual sunshine in human form. Not only does she have incredible kindness and a big heart that makes it comforting to be around her, but Jess' knowledge and experience was so helpful to us in making decisions for our birth plan and in my and our child's care throughout the end of pregnancy and during the birth process. When we found out I needed a c-section, she helped to answer my questions, understand how to advocate for myself throughout the process, and she played an incredibly supportive role for my partner while I was not able to be with him. She alleviated my concerns and worries and comforted me during surgery, and as a bonus took the most amazing photos and videos of our birth experience. I never thought I needed those, but they are absolutely some of my most treasured photos and memories now. I cannot recommend enough having a doula to support your birth process. After my child was born, I also saw a Blooma lactation specialist and IBCLC, Jessica Underwood who also was kind and incredibly knowledgeable for helping me improve my breastfeeding relationship and skillset with my newborn. Overall, 20/10 recommendation for this incredible company, its experienced team and the overall experience in every facet of my...
