TERRIBLE customer service and we will never shop here again! Buyers beware!!! We purchased a side table from this store a few months ago. It was the only one on the sales floor and we wanted to get a matching one for our family room. The sales guy said they had another one already delivered and just waiting to be unloaded. He even said he could see it all the way in the back of the shipment. We went ahead and purchased the 1 side table and the sales guy said he would call us as soon as he could unload the latest shipment. Well, a week past by and he never called. My wife called them and their sales people said it was not yet unloaded. Another week passes by and my wife decided to stop by the store. She was shocked to find that they had unloaded the shipment and never called us back as they promised. When asked about the table, one salesperson said they just sold the table. When my wife finally spoke with the sales guy, he said they never had the table and that it wasn't in the shipment. Whether it was accidentally sold or they never had it, he would not apologize for the mistake. Rather than offering us any decent level of customer service and trying to make it right by finding us the peice from a different store or finding something similar or even refunding us for the already purchased table, he proceed to claim that he never told us they had it. This was simply not true because he told us he could see it in the back, but just couldn't get to it because a bunch of bigger furniture peices were in the way. He dug in his heels with his story and claimed my wife was mistaken and confused. She was neither mistake nor confused about what he told us. I only had one experience with Nadeau and this is the last, there are so many other furniture places in the twin cities that don't sell broken products and understand the concept of customer service, In November we bought a $900 (including delivery) Marble coffee table, a few days after it was delivered we realized that there was a crack on the marble. Lucky for us we took this picture in the store and when zooming could see that the crack was much smaller but already present when we bought it. We contacted the store, had to send a reminder because we were not getting a response, and finally were told that sales are final and this is our responsibility to check the product before buying it. As a compensation we were offered a $100 credit store (may be to buy more broken products?). I read the contract at the back of the invoice, that you only get once you've paid, and yes it says that sales are final and we should inspect the product. Even when I don't need any furniture, I love a periodic walk through - you never know what great and unique ideas you might find there. I saw a circular shelf today and realized it was the perfect solution to my bathroom decorative dilemma ...it works perfectly and I didn't even go there with that intention. Hurrah!
