AMBER.. Manager ???? are you kidding me. this was the WORST experience I have ever had. starting with waiting in the lobby for 4 minutes until i asked if we could be seated... they came out cleared a table and seated us at the other side of the restaurant. when a server finally came to us the very 2 items we ordered they were out of .. seriously NO SOUP at 6:30 PM in the FALL. We then placed our order to a Baked potato and chicken salad sandwich... we waited OVER 30 minutes. While we waited Amber the "manager" walked by our table and belched. no excuse me no nothing. we then asked about the delay and we were told the grill had issues.. for a cold sandwich ?? also there was no i am sorry it was more like suck it up. i told her how disappointed i was and that i expected an adjustment... she gave us the 20% off that we ALREADY had a coupon for.. she did not stick around at the register to follow through the issue -instead the nice gal at the register said you know i am sorry it sounds like you didn't get what you came in for and said dont worry about it we will take care of you which i believed was the correct thing and more managerial that Amber had. we proceeded to walk to our car when i kid you not Amber came flying out of the restaurant and SCREAMED at us -- SO MANY THINGS wrong with this... AFTER being told by a PERKINS employee Amber says GET in her NOW and pay for your meal and i will not give you a discount. i said no we were told it was taken care of because we were unhappy. she then said she was calling the police...i said i wish you would... and of course it was an empty threat. she stormed into the store and i went in and said when will the police be here and she scream GET OUT AND DONT EVER COME BACK... well first of all Amber after being treated the way we were and the lousy service besides we would not be back and i certainly wouldn't go when you were there. well i strolled through the reviews and i am not the not the only unhappy person who has visited there. I am appalled at the way management handle this situation. she needs to be pulled from this position completely and if not she certainly needs to be trained again... this is beyond unacceptable. may 1 star is over rated for this it is a minus 10 for sure but that wasn't a choice. Read moreWhere do I start.... we were seated and asked what we would like to drink. Got our drinks than had to wait about 15 minutes for the waiter to come take our food order. We than had to wait almost an hour for our food to come out. During that time we did get the slice of pie that we ordered. While still waiting for our food the waiter came to take the dirty plate for the pie which was sitting in the table next to two of our beverage glasses, which were empty and before the waiter came to get the plate he walked by and looked at the empty glasses at least 5 times. When he did come and take the dirty plate he was about to walk away when I had to bring it to his attention that we needed refills on the 2 drinks. Once our food finally came out to the table some of it was under cooked and some of it was way over cooked and half of some of our order was not even brought out. We were told that the remainder of our food would be right out, Took about 20 minutes, so when the rest of our food was brought out we brought it to the waiters at about the under and over cooked food. The waiter went and requested new food be made for us. It was brought out after the rest of our food was already gone. We had ordered a appetizer that than was brought out to us 15 minutes after we were all done eating. And at that time the waiter said he would bring the check. Waited about 10 minutes for the check. Because of the incredible amount of poor service that we received at the time of paying I asked for to speak to the manager. Waited for about 10 minutes for the manager to come to the counter to discuss these issues. Once the manager came to the counter and i explained issues the manager apologized and expecting to have a discount applied to our bill, the manager tells me that he has it covered and that he Hope's that we will come back when he has a full staff in the kitchen. I will return here because of the manager doing more than I expected to correct the issues with our dinner service. The 3 stars of my rating is all because of the manager and his actions, otherwise it would of only been a 1...
Read moreI really try not to leave negative reviews, but I have had multiple negative experiances here big enough to warrant leaving a review. I love that this location is 24 hours, a good place to get coffee and have deep chats with friends at 11pm. However, no matter the time of day i have had only negative interactions with managers. Once I, a 17 year old, ordered a kids meal here, asking the waitress if it was alright. I myself work in the food industry and know the "kids" menu is usually not exclusively for children, so I asked if I could order off of it. She said it was fine and i enjoyed my pancakes with rainbow sprinkles. HOWEVER when I went to go pay and get the cookie included in the meal I was YELLED at by the manager about how only kids were allowed to order off of the kids menu. It is not my fault the waitress allowed me to order of the menu and I certainly should not be held responsible, let alone yelled at, for a simple mistake made by my waitress. I was seriously offened and hurt and felt bad about it all the way home and for days after. Later, I thought maybe it was just that manager who had a chip on his shoulder, but this evening the manager on duty was very rude and was visibly annoyed by my friends request for no straw as well as when I asked to use the tumbler I brought with me for water. The only reason I give this place 3 stars is how friendly most of the other waitstaff is, Mike is a personal favorite.
