Freddy appliances handles service calls for my apartment as a part of my rental agreement. I put in a service request due to my dryer not working. I placed this call on Monday and didn’t receive a call back to schedule until Friday. Their assistant called me advise me that the technician “Freddy” would call me to schedule. He called me and told me he would be here between 9-10. He arrived at my gate at 9:35 and by 9:39 he left. He called my gate twice and upon me calling his office to advise him to call me back at 9:40 his assiant Betsy immediately advised me that he was not going to turn back and he was already in Cooper City. Mind you I live in Miramar. It is physically impossible for him to be so far in a matter of two minutes. I didn’t receive a courtesy call to let me know he was here or that he was leaving!! Horrible customer service. I called the office again only to be told that he was too busy and I would not be able to speak to him directly. He’s the so called owner and doesn’t permit his employees to hand out his number. So how is anyone supposed to communicate with this guy??? Betsy is the assistat who has horrible customer service and was no help at all to resolve my problem. I have a 6 month old baby with tons of clothes that need to be washed and dried! I cannot wait until Monday that’s two weeks worth of laundry! After countless calls and meaningless information from Betsy she said Freddy would be in the office around 12! Why not just come fix my dryer at 12? Honestly, I support small businesses but they need to know that customer service is what separates a good company from a lousy shop. So unhappy !

Read moreUpdate:Freddy the owner came out to do the repair himself, he was a very nice man n actually diagnosed the problem correctly n was able to fix temporarily until the part can be gotten. Bc of that, I'm updating the 1 star to a 3. Unfortunately, it doesn't take away the inconvenience n frustration I experienced this morning with the technician n company prior to him coming. Awful Awful company n service. I had a technician come out to look at my fridge on Wed. The part that needed to be changed had to be ordered so he said he would be back this am to fix the fridge. Texted him in this am n he told me he's not working today a he's getting tested for covid. So I'm calling the company to get someone else to come as promised bc 2 days without a proper working fridge is not acceptable!! After almost an hour of trying to figure it out, someone just told me he'll come themselves to fix it today. However he has to wait for the guy to finish testing as he has the part. There was no call from anyone to tell me that all this was happening prior to me texting the technician. I had to call n find out when it should've been them to call n reschedule me or find someone in his place to do the repair. Will never use again. Let's hope the guy is negative n the part is wrapped up since it's in his possession. Will...

I contacted Freddy's Appliance Repairs regarding a Kitchen Aid Microwave/Oven Combination appliance due to the Microwave malfunctioning. They answered immediately and took the Model # & Error Code information. Julio contacted me upon researching the Error code and we setup an appointment. Julio and Freddy the owner arrived on schedule/on-time. Their diagnostic expertise is beyond words. This is a very difficult appliance to work on and a great deal of dismantling to get access for repair. They are extremely professional and careful while they work. Due to their relentless diagnosing, they found the issue with minimal parts needed and a standard repair rate. Where others would have given up and ordered/changed a very expensive (500.00) Access Module, they were able to completely repair with just $ 30.00 in parts/ plus standard labor rate.
