So honestly, to spend money on a piece of new furniture is WAY out of my comfort zone. We are hand me down, reupholster/slipcover/refinish kind of folks! (some say cheap. I say frugal. And our funds are limited!) Anyhow, before my father passed, he decided that each of his kids should get a little fun money from him. (Where do you think I learned my frugal skills?) I had always dreamed of furniture that my two miniature dachshunds couldn't ruin (pee on, barf on, chew rawhides on--oh sorry--hope you're a small dog lover!) so my dream was LEATHER. Just like when I got my minivan when my kids were little and I learned the beauty of how much easier it was to clean leather seats over cloth seats. Yet I digress. Bottom line: love love love this store. No pressure. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. The owners are fabulous, upstanding, honest family folk. You can get in stock furniture (huge selection) or custom made. I had our couch custom made from another family owned business here in Indiana. You pick out the style, type of leather, type of legs, color of nail head, etc etc. The delivery guys are superb. I was so happy I went back and had two chairs and an ottoman made. (I feel like such a grown up!) My only problem is I fear I'm developing a furniture...

Just wanted to give Christiansons a huge shout out and thank you so much for your wonderful service and quality furniture. I contacted Mr. Christianson about a flexsteel couch I purchased 10 years ago. A couple of my cushions had lost their firmness. He quickly contacted flexsteel about replacement cushions. They no long made this style couch. He told me he had a guy that could restuff them for me. I brought him what needed to be fixed and he got the job done in a very quick turn around. Thank you for taking such good care of your customers. I appreciate your promptness in taking care of us. I also want to say thank you for the 2 very kind and considerate gentleman you sent to look at my couch. They also brought my cushions out to me and put them back in my couch when the job was finished. You have wonderful staff...

Good so far. Employees were very helpful in answering all my questions and walked with me as I looked for what I wanted because I asked them to. Very patient with me. I ordered my couch and am waiting on delivery. Has been 6+ weeks, but I knew that going in since the furniture I chose is built to order.
