Yankton Bowl — Local services in Mission Hill South Township

Bowling is always good here. Service in the bowling alley was great! Not very impressed with sh-booms bar service. The upper level of the bowling alley needs better customer service. Especially when there is only two groups of people to wait on. When the bar tender is more focused on one customer in particular and playing pool without keeping an eye on her other customers, that is bad customer service in my eyes. Having good customer service also means not complaining about the tip you receive or lack of tips you are receiving. One should be grateful one was given one at all. Brought in a bottle of water in a cup I know my kid will drink well from to share with my 1 1/2 year old, and was told I couldn't have it. My son can't drink from a water fountain, and doesn't drink well from disposable cups. They tried to take it from me and put it in the cooler, saying I could get it back when I leave. When I said I'd put it away in my diaper bag, they made a rude comment about how I can enjoy my room temp water later. If I was asked politely and hadn't almost had my stuff forcibly taken, I wouldn't have any problems. I have gone bowling for years here but it seems costumer service has been at an exponential decline. The employee working seemed to be annoyed with us as we would have to tell him about balls getting stuck in the back of the lane along with pins being in the middle of our lane causing us not to be able to play properly, I sent my girlfriend up to tell the worker and she came back uncomfortable as the worker kept teller her “it’s fine”.
