RB Grillhouse — Restaurant in Utica South Township

I'm giving a 3 star simply because each experience is different BUT every time me or any of my family members order Prime Rib or a steak they are never cooked right. ALWAYS too done and the last time my brother ordered a prime rib it was so dry it was as if it was leftover. When i pay $25 plus for a steak/prime rib I expect it to be cooked to how I ask and to be "fresh" per say. When I say I want it Medium Rare/more rare, i expect to be that NOT Well done as it has been every single time. Maybe teaching your cooks how to make a proper steak needs to be done. I had ordered the ribs this last time and they were really good so I give a thumbs up for that. Sometimes we order wings and sometimes they come out luke warm and sometimes they come out hot (as they should). Every time is a different experience but I expect more good than bad and each time we have ordered steaks they are never right and in my book that is a HUGE downfall especially when you charge $20 plus for them. I get that it can be busy BUT making food correctly can be done.

I arrived at the place and was served by a girl who went to look for a lady to serve me and my husband. She looked at me very strangely. We told her a table for two and she came in with the same one. She came out and told me the only thing there is is the bar, to which I answered; It doesn't matter right there and he was shocked because he thought we would leave and he told us let's see if I can find a table he went in and left us waiting then two families arrived and said the number of the person was not reservations and he entered them in front of us, after making us wait a while time we entered a table and there were a few empty tables it made me feel so bad because I realized that he was racist towards me, after sitting I got a stomach ache because of how bad the lady gave me a time that I left and When I came out, arriving at the car, she yelled at us, "Everything's fine, guys, and I didn't even feel like talking to me. I wanted to leave now, and we told her that everything was fine, and she told us that if there was any problem, it seems like she realized what it was. The food and atmosphere was acceptable, but the service, price and 20% tip figured into your bill for a noon lunch was unacceptable. We asked for napkins twice and never recieved any and neither waitress asked if we wanted refills and since the glasses were 12 ounce glasses and probably less than that with all the ice with a cost of $2.50+ per glass of pop. We finally got our waitress attention and asked for refills. She took our glasses to refill them but never brought them back and when I asked her age said she didnt know we wanted them refilled!! When it came time to pay I was using my debit card and it was already marked a 20% tip with my only other option being 15% tip. I am usually a decent tipper for at least adequate service but did not feel as though a tip was warranted as they were not busy and our waitress was "training" a new waitress and since there was two waitresses to be waiting on our table I think it was even worse to provide inadequate service such as this.
