First, I’d like to say I’ve been a regular customer. However, on 08/30/2025, I purchased the elderberry with ginger sea moss and was very disappointed. The texture was like a hard jello that had to be chewed, and I even thought it might be old. When I brought this up, I was told there were no returns or exchanges and to just add water. I was also told I should have tested it before buying—which I did—but I didn’t expect to end up with an old jar.

I was further told that their elderberry is their number one seller. As their number one seller that was all they had left and it was a lot in there. But that’s not the point here. This felt unprofessional and irrelevant to the issue. Because I had already tasted it, they would not accept it back. Of course, I had to taste it to know something was wrong. I even sent a video showing the texture, but they responded that because I had dug into it, they could not do anything. Adding water as suggested only made it worse, and the taste was off. I was basically told to fix something that I bought supposed to already be ready. I was not offered any real empathy, solution, or discount.

I respect small businesses and usually enjoy supporting them, but this experience felt dismissive. Sadly, I won’t be returning. Instead of valuing me as a loyal customer and supporting my continued use of your products, I felt dismissed and undervalued. Best seamoss in Houston, hands down.

I am very much a health nut. I've been Vegan for years, and have been looking for ways to keep myself healthy, since all these diseases are going around. I've tried a lot of seamoss gels from different companies, but they all were just...Okay. This family's seamoss knocked me out of the park.

The gel is a smooth consistency, and it's delicious. I tried all the flavors, and ended up buying a Elderberry gel. Along with that, I bought a Curl and Lock Jelly, and a Body Butter. Both felt good on my skin and my hair.

I did the 6 for $40 deal on the drinks and bought 3 Strawberry lemonades, and 3 Pineapple juices.

The customer service was amazing. I was greeted at the door by Shakira, one of the owners, and was served swiftly. She explained to me things I didn't know, and answered all my questions.
