I’m such a huge fan of TJ Birria as is, I didn’t realize they had this spot! I’m so glad I got to try it out. This was the old stomping grounds where TJ Birria all started if not mistaken. Great to see how they kept this location and added a twist to it. Cute and small in there. Enough seating also. Menu is on the walls plus on paper at the cash register. I ordered their chilaquiles with cecina, the Centro Americano dish, and lastly their concha french toast. My drinks were a agua fresca de limón con pepino preparado and caramel iced coffee. The chilaquiles came as half salsa roja and salsa verde. Both were great but the green was on the spicier side which I enjoyed a lot. The meat great nothing crazy and seasoned with a lot of spices. The Centro Americano reminded of home. So basic yet tasty! For their french toast concha it was a hit. I was surprised that it was cut up and cooked I’m assuming on the flat top with the egg wash. I had no complaints about any of the dishes. Service was great and quick, can’t wait...

Now on to the food. The chilaquiles divorciados is why people come here. Very tastefully done dish that packs on a good amount of flavor. While it's not the best chilaquiles I've ever had, it definitely is respectable and craveable. You're not going to find a better version in the area unless it is doused in unhealthy fats when cooking. This dish is clean. You don't taste like you're downing a tub of lard. This goes back to their high level of cleanliness.
The mini pancakes were no bueno. Pancakes deserve to be big. There's lots of room for improvement here.
I docked a point because of the pricing. This place is definitely on the expensive side especially for the area. If the pricing was a little lower, I could see myself eating...
Read moreWe've passed this place hundreds of times and never noticed it. I'm glad we finally did! Daughter wanted breakfast and IHOP was packed (her choice, not mine). Jumped on yelp, saw good reviews and food pics that looked delicious so decided to give it a try. Place is small but found seating. Walk up ordering. Worst part was having to decide on one thing. Kiddo got mini pancakes with oreos, whipped cream, strawberries and Nutella (also came with bananas but we passed). I got the machacado, plenty of meat and excellent flavor. Flour tortillas were perfect pairing. Food was so good, ordered food to take home before we left (for the wife). Concha del desayuno (sweet bread breakfast sandwich with egg, ham and cheese...genius!) Wife approved! Will...
