Coborn's Grocery Store — Local services in Mitchell

At 7 a.m. my grandson and I went into the store. His father whom just passed away last week, use 👨to take him to the store just so William could get a cookie 🍪

Although it was early I took him to the bakery anyhow, as he was yelling "cookie" 🗣. They were out of cookies 🍪 in the glass jar, so I asked the female bakery employee if they had more cookies.

She stopped what she doing to those delicious looking cupcakes 🧁, to ask my grandson what kind of cookie 🍪 he wanted, she then opened a new box for him and got him his favorite M&M cookie.

She was very friendly, kind and attentive to what my grandson wanted. 👏 It was much appreciated in helping me keep up a tradition that he had with his father 🙏

The staff and Meghan do an amazing job and are the friendliest people in town. You definitely need to shop there or as I do just stop in to visit the employees 🤣✋️

Please don't invite people to apply for your store on indeed if you aren't planning on taking the time to call them after they have applied. This is the kind of thing that gives my generation a bad rap. Everyone says that "no one wants to work anymore" or "this generation is just lazy". How do you expect us to work when you don't give us the time or day especially when we have the qualifications you are looking for. It's being nit picky. At least the people who do apply for you want to be a part of your team. Give them a chance. Might actually be what you need. You have so many positions but expect the perfect people. It's sad when you make one guy close the whole store when you can clearly hire...

I've always shopped here in the past especially for the meat department! But been shopping on-line here since covid started and Desiree is completely amazing with her customers when she shops for them!!!! Always calls me if there is an issue with my purchase and such a pleasure to deal with!!! And Sierra in customer service is such a helpful, sweet & knowledgeable girl with any thing I need! She actually brought my groceries to me once when door dash never picked them up! You ladies are wonderful! I wouldn't go...
