What a mess. My husband decided to test the selling situation there to see if we might want to open a store there. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! First of all, they didn't even clean the space they rented us, and I was stung to h_ll by red ants that we found living in the corner. Then when we complained about issues with our "neighbors" and they ignored us, but when our neighbors complained about us, we were "booted" from selling. The lady with the overpriced 3D printed stuff even had the nerve to ask my Autistic Adult child to stop "taking" business from her as he engaged the crowd who walked by our booth. I bet she makes few sales as she sits in her booth reading a book, barely acknowledging people walking by. That is why my son got us sales, and she is too lazy to do so, so she complained about my son doing it; even though he quit when she asked! It was actually a relief to get out of there; since they obviously don't live up to their word, I was glad to get away from that kind of mess. I have been in business for over 10 years and I have sold at Many flea markets, farmers markets and events, and I've never seen such a mess of a flea market!! It basically looks like a homeless encampment, and yes, people DO SLEEP there, as we witnessed ourselves! When we asked others about the rent, we were told that the prices varied, depending on who you know. We were also told that most people sell there as a tax loss write off. So glad to be out of that mess. I had hoped the new company would clean it up and find actual flea market management, instead they bought it, started charging for parking, and did NOTHING ELSE to improve. They just want the $, not the responsibility. We had items stolen from our vehicle, and they did nothing about it. There is ZERO security here (just people pretending to be), so make sure you have enough people to watch the car And go inside. I felt completely unsafe and ignored by this half asked management. This was just an experiment to see if we wanted to open a store there. Instead, we are going to purchase a store! Luckily, my online sales Far exceed anything a place like that would make me! My advice: stick with selling on line! It's...
Read moreMy wife and I went on a Saturday in mid-September. We were charged a dollar each when we entered the parking lot. We found a parking place fairly easily. We were looking for a particular booth number in row B. We were looking for the booth and we couldn't see the booth numbers plus also they did not seem in numeric order. Well we finally found the booth we were looking for and completed our business there. It has been more than a year(before the Covid shutdown)since I have been here. Comparing the before and after conditions, it looks like they have lost the drawing power they once had for vendors and customers. When I visited the last time, it was hard to move because of the crowds of people. The booths were mostly occupied with very few vacancies. Now the crowd is very light and it is easy to stroll the rows. There are quite a few vacancies(I estimate around 50% empty stalls). Most of the stall and booths there now are the bigger vendors with mostly Chinese manufactured merchandise. I think overall Covid has had an effect on the people willing to go to an open market site like this flea market. Another issue not helping is the $1 entry fee they charge. Maybe they should make it attractive for sales to let vendors offer a dollar discount on the...
Read moreLove this place! My friend and I have gone 3-4 weekends in a row just to visit our fave booths which are the Golden Bowl Chinese one and Hats and Tie Dye ones in case you ever stop by! It's a fun and unique experience all around. Cute farmers market has tasty fruit and veggies for good value! The two I mentioned before have great deals and the people that run them are extremely nice and helpful! I love what they have! If you enjoy keeping your energies centered and finding your spiritual balance go to Hats and Tie Dye! They have a great variety of stones both raw and smooth that cover whatever you are specifically looking for and you get to test and find the ones that fit your vibe! Golden Bowl has a lot of unique oriental items as well, so far experienced nice quality items and enjoy the individual tea cups. chopsticks, and decorative items I've gotten thus far. I plan to go back again soon to get a tea and sake set! They're beautiful! Will share pictures at...
