Quite disappointed in my experience today. We come here nearly every week and spend HUNDREDS every time, the owners know our faces and we also greet them with a smile. Today we came to the counter with our basket, there was no line. She saw us but called over someone who I guess had placed their things on the counter before us, waited for him to come cut in front of us and checked him out first. Okay...? Well no big deal. You’d think she’d check us out next since we had been standing there nearly ten minutes. Nope. Another customer went to the end of the counter and left and went over there and checked her out too as we stood there yet again. I hate to say it but it was obvious she checked both of Asian customers out first while making us stand there and wait on people who weren’t even in line when we got to the counter. I’m disappointed in the treatment I received as a customer and I won’t be back ever again and I can no longer recommend this business to...
Read moreI loved going here and buying tons of stuff. We cook alot of Korean dishes regularly. I always spent a heavy penny here though. Their receipts don't tell you exactly what you're paying for so it's hard to see exactly what you're being charged for. The last time I was here I noticed that the women, Im assuming she's the owner bc she's always there, was ringing me up mulitple times for the same items. As I placed the items on the counter she charged me while bagging the items. She then placed her hand in the bag and begin charging me again as if she hadn't already. I asked her why and her husband looked terrified and said something of course I cldnt understand. I asked for the receipt and counted the items I had compared against what was on the receipt. That is where I found the "mistake". Bc I caught the "mistake" it was my Most inexpensive visit and also my last. I hate thieves....
Read moreIf you're looking for a good overall Asian market, this is THE market to go to. It's not strictly a Vietnamese store. They have pretty much any noodle, sauce, oil, paste, whatever you could possibly be looking for and for a reasonable price. They carry, an albeit limited number of, produce and frozen foods. You can buy an enormous sack of all kinds of rices (tip: Firehouse Subs sells their food-grade 5 gallon buckets, which their pickles are packed in, for $5; the only problem is that they smell of pickles, but the great news is that you won't taste it). They even sell kitchen ware, Asian candy and lots of stuff that I am probably forgetting. We shopped at a number of Asian markets, but this is the one that we decided was the best of all in the...
