Our outdoor storage unit was broken in to and no-one contacted us by phone or by mail or email. It was my husband who discovered something was wrong when he went to our unit and realized the lock had been changed. When he went into the office to inquire, they let him know that the unit had been vandalized 2 months prior. Our snowblower was stolen as well as our grill and a few more smaller items. Our unit was filled to the absolute maximum capacity with mountains of boxes in the front and the snowblower in the back and out of sight. Assuming The theives didn't know it was there, they would have had to have taken the time, as well as the risk to move all of the boxes out if the way just to see if there was anything valuable in the back. My husband and I are convinced it was an inside job for the followig reasons: 1)The thieves didnt seem to be worried about getting in and out quickly, as the boxes were stacked back into place after snowblower and grill had been removed. 2) Someone must've known the large items were in back. 3) No-one contacted us for 2 months, even though they knew our unit was vandalized. 4) The thieves not only had time to remove our boxes, load snowblower and grill and carefully stack boxes back in unit, they had enough time to vandalize other...
