One week from Christmas, busiest time of year, and they have one person working at customer service covering both returns and online pick ups. Came in to pick up something I paid for online a week ago, waited 20 minutes in line and they had only gotten through two people making a bunch of returns. They apparently have a self pick up, but when I called the store (from the line) I was told this wasnât an option for my purchase and was told to wait in the returns line. Kohls used to be a solid staple in Wisconsin, but it is abundantly clear to me why they are constantly fighting to stay in business. Every other major retailer has figured out streamlined online order pickup, most deliver to your car in the parking lot. Kohls has a designated âonline pickupâ parking spot, but still makes you walk into the store and wait in a long line to pick up something youâve already pain for! Itâs comical. They make it so hard to buy something conveniently. I ended up leaving the line without my pickup because I didnât budget 30 minutes in my day to pick up an online order. Now Iâll have to come back and repeat the process - better clear my afternoon. Not the first time this has happened either. Should have learned my lesson. As much as I want to support a Wisconsin based company, this is a joke. Back to Amazon or Target (maybe even Walmart, gasp!) for future purchases. Canât wait for the next...
Read moreThis store is fine, they were very helpful and kind, thank you to all the hard working people. This is directed at the blowhard CEO Ms. Gass. Something smells rotten at Kohl's. Overpaid and clueless. I tried to order online, it didn't work, I tried to order in store, Kiosks are super slow and terrible, it took me an hour. They have you type on your credit card in front of the world, and they don't work. Kohl's is like Sears, Dead store walking. Does CEO Gass care? No. She's probably already has a job lined up at Amazon, and the SEC should make sure she's not shorting Kohls stock, I'm going to.
Activist shareholders, already seeking to replace five board members at Kohlâs Corp., are now accusing the retailer of overpaying executives.
âThis exorbitant CEO compensation stands in stark contrast to the fate of Kohlâs employees, 85,000 of which were furloughed for several months and who we estimate were paid nearly 10 percent less in the aggregate in 2020 compared to 2019,â the activists said.
The letter said â2020 is not an outlier. Kohlâs management has been richly rewarded for years despite declining operating results.â
The compensation of Kohl's chief executive officer Michelle Gass grew to $12.9...
Read moreMy boyfriend purchased a ring for me and the plating started wearing off. I returned it to the store for an even exchange and the lady working the counter was very helpful and switched it out. The new ring also starting to wear off so I went in to exchange it. The original price was $250 and it was on sale for 60% off, the ring i wanted to exchange it for was $245 and 60% off. They could not do the exchange because the price was not the same so they told me corporate would be mailing me a check within 7-10 days. It has been over 10 days so I called and sat on hold for over 30 minutes when finally someone picked up! She was extremely rude and told me the refund was pending, SO WHY DID NO ONE CONTACT ME TO TELL ME THIS?? I am leaving for out of town for three months and now have to wait another 3 days for them to mail the check out and another 7-10 days for it to arrive, and then it to be forwarded to me. The representative was also extremely rude and said BYE and HUNG UP at the end of the call. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS EXPERIENCE!! WILL NO...
