I recently had the pleasure of working with High End Audio and Performance in Williamstown, NJ, and I am thrilled to share my experience. We entrusted them with installing a Pioneer head unit in our Toyota Venza, and the initial installation was flawless. The install was clean, and we were extremely happy and satisfied with the results.
Several months later, we encountered an issue where the speakers in our car stopped working. Without hesitation, we returned to High End Audio for assistance. They conducted a thorough check of the radio and initially suspected that the factory amplifier might be the culprit. Anthony, the manager, advised us to contact Best Buy, as our radio was still under warranty. He recommended having Best Buy switch out the radio to rule out any issues with the radio itself.
Throughout this process with Best Buy, it was discovered that the real issue stemmed from a new car phone charger we had recently installed. The charger was drawing too much voltage, causing the speakers to malfunction. Unfortunately, Best Buy was unable to reset the radio properly, so we returned to High End Audio for further help.
Initially, we were told that there would be a charge to correctly set the radio, as there was a small gap at the bottom and side of the radio and car bracket. I left feeling disappointed, but soon after, I received a call from Anthony. He was extremely apologetic and clarified that there had been some confusion. He invited us to bring the car back in, and they promptly set the radio correctly at no additional cost.
I was immensely impressed with the exceptional level of customer service provided by Anthony and the entire team at High End Audio. Their dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction truly stood out, and it is clear that they genuinely care about their customers.

What is not understandable is them not letting me know and also not putting the rain guards back in my car. I had to drive back another day, they said they would put the rain guards back in which they did but failed to put the caps that hold the guards in place which caused one to fall off on the highway on my way home, another inconvenience for their mistake.
Second time I brought my vehicle in to get a remote start. They told my wife it would take a couple hours to be installed. It wasnt finished for 8 hours. They said my car was hard to work on, ok. So the whole reason I got this auto start put in was for the winter. I wanted to get the car warmed up. On my 30 minute ride home I notice the heats not coming on, wasn't working. Called up the shop let them know, told me it's a 10 minute fix. Nice still gotta drive 30 minutes on my day off because you messed up again. Reasoning for the heat not working was that the guy doing the work in the beginning didn't tell the guy that took over that he unplugged a certain wire, anyway a quick 10 minute fix turned into 40 minutes and the last time they would be getting my business which would have been getting a new amp for my sub and speakers installed.
I've had better experiences at best buy and that's pretty sad. Don't waste your time...

I took my BMW to High End after a botch audio system upgrade done from another local shop. Felix, Mike and rest of the crew took a look at what could be done to restore a bunch of factory functionality that had been lost. They took the entire day to try and work within the existing setup and made efforts to keep me updated with progress. They even ordered a part from the Philly store and personally drove to the NJ shop same day. Unfortunately, beyond High End's control, the existing set up was not going to allow me to get my factory diagnostics restored. They took the time to explain why and gave me options on how to upgrade a BMW's speaker system the RIGHT way. They gave me the cost breakdown and scheduled another appt. days later. Never did they push or upsell me to re-do my system, they left it completely in my court to decide. It was a NO BRAINER. After all said and done, I had all my factory diagnostics back and STELLAR sounding sound system. There are your every day custom performance shops and then there's HIGH END.
