MamaMi Vietnamese Kitchen — Restaurant in Monroe Township

I placed a DoorDash order for my kids for lunch because I am at work until 7. Part of the order was the Mamami special wings. The wings comes with cilantro and lettuce for garnish. I gave instructions on the DoorDash for no vegetables only wings because the vegetables makes them soggy. When my children receive the order, the wings did not have the vegetables, but there was no sauce on the wings either. They were bland and bald fried wings only.! My instructions did not say no sauce . I called the store about their mistake that they acknowledge they misunderstood my directions and did not include the sauce on the wings. I told them I would not be home until seven, but I can come by the store and I can pick up the fresh correct order of wings. The store did not want to compensate me in anyway the gentleman told me I could come by and pick up some sauce and then go back home and put them on the wings. L O L he insisted! instead of making fresh wings with sauce on them the correct way I told him I am at work. My children receive the order at 3:30 so you want me to pick up sauce and bring them home so they can reheat cold wings? He said yes, or I can bring the wings to the store and they can re-fry them and put sauce on them! I will never eat or order anything from this establishment again. Not because of the taste of the food but because of the poor customer service if this is what they consider justified customer compensation for their error in misinterpreting my instructions and giving me bald bland fried wings with no sauce then I can no longer support this establishment with my money. The economy is difficult as it is and what little bit of money I have to treat myself I will no longer spend it in an establishment that fails to correct their mistake with a customer. I hope that you all reading this will understand what I am saying, join me in to saying to mamami Shame! Shame! Shame! On you. Those wings cost me about $17 with tax and they don’t want to fry me up a batch of new wings with the sauce on them for me to pick up at 7 o’clock. Shame shame shame.! By total order came to $65! BTW The owner has no accountability for her establishment. If you look at all the reviews with a two star or below rating, she always comments with an excuse, blaming her customers.!!! Probably the BEST in the area without having to go to Philadelphia. Flavor is always consistent for Pho and their appetizers are amazing. I have been a regular at this restaurant and come at least once a week or every other week. I remember when they first started I worked at staples and they had me print their menu so they definitely have came a long way. The only reason I gave this business a 3 star is because of their constant change in prices just like the other reviews say below. When I first ate on the second day of opening, I paid about $12 for a regular sized pho. Every year the prices has jumped a dollar. So the following year it went up $13 and by now its about $15 for a regular bowl of Pho. I asked them why that is and their response is simply "Inflation". The inflation rate is about 8.3% and should not have to increase your prices by almost 25% which i found extremely funny. I really liked this place because of their cheap delicious pho but now I'm starting to rethink because i'd rather not walk out with a $30 bill every time I eat there. After a fantastic DoorDash experience, I went to MamaMi with great expectations and boy, was I deeply disappointed. The service was very subpar, about 5 servers on the floor and the place (about 9 tables) was just half filled. I had 3 or 4 different servers who didn’t seem to communicate with each other very well. Ordered a Thai tea and never got it, but it did show up on my bill. We were given two napkins for four people, and never got more despite asking for it. One of our appetizers fell off the plate when the server brought it to us and went unnoticed and I had to ask for a replacement 10 minutes later. The leftover container leaked when I put my pho in there. For the price, I honestly expected better service. I would have continued to DoorDash from them if my experience wasn’t so horrendous.
