L&S Chef's Table — Local services in Monroe Township

We had Chef Brian create a birthday celebration meal for my partner this past weekend. I interviewed several chefs for our dinner and knew Chef Brian was the right one for us from the moment we connected. He just got “it” and understood exactly what we were going for. He suggested a menu and collaborated with me to fine tune it. He was extremely responsive and enthusiastic through the whole process. On the day of the event he arrived on time and ready to go. The appetizers of baby lamb chops and oysters with an unbelievable couscous were great. The lamb chops melted in our mouths and were perfectly cooked. The plating and presentation of the entire meal was truly beautiful. For dinner we had a delicious refreshing salad followed by tomahawks and scallops (and lobster and crab). To call it a feast would be an understatement. The soufflé for dessert was perfection. At the end, the entire kitchen and table were cleaned and all leftovers packed up. What can I say about L&S Chef’s Table! Well let me start off with that it was a surprise bachelorette party for me - so when I walked in to my sisters in law house I had no idea! When entering the kitchen everything smelled sooooooo gooooodddd!!!! Now let’s talk about the food and give it some ratings presentation 5 out of 5 Everything was beautifully presented from the charcuterie to the appetizer to the main entree and dessert - Taste 5 out of 5 (I would give it more than 5 stars) all I have to say is WOW! Not only did it taste delicious but everything was fresh! The pasta was home-made!! it brought back memories from when my grandmother used to make homemade pasta for Sunday dinners! The tiramisu dessert was one of the best tiramisu I ever had! Everyone enjoyed and loved everything - I know so because there was no food left in the plate!

I planned a private dinner at my house for my father's birthday for 7 people and wow, did Brian deliver! It was an experience unlike any other. Every course we picked out was unique but also constantly took us by surprise in the best way. I'd assume what it would taste like but then after tasting it I'd be blown away. I was so fortunate we had some leftovers! The crab cakes and chicken bbq pinwheels were a huge hit! I'm not a huge shrimp fan but Brian's stuffed shrimp was out of this world! I'm also thankful Brian was great at accommodating a vegetarian in the mix of the meal. He also made a phenomenal tiramisu for dessert. Above all, Brian was extremely professional, punctual and left our kitchen spotless! I will definitely be hiring L&S Chef's Table again soon! Whether for another private dinner or catering.
