Rossmoor Adult Community — Local services in Monroe Township

I’ve lived here for five years. Four months ago they sided and put a new roof on our building. I had purchased new windows and screens less than two years ago. I informed them that I had torn screens after the siding was complete. They are telling me they took pictures before siding began and don’t see torn screens. They are torn not shredded. You can’t possibly see that from a picture of the whole side of a building. My kitchen sink became clogged and Rossmoor sent a plumber over to unclog. He decided to install a garbage disposal. I was told by the last plumber they were no longer installing disposals because older people were using them for everything. I told the latest plumber and he told me try not to use it and that Rossmoor would probably pay for it. Next thing I know I got a $500.00 bill! This is Rossmoor’s way. This place is terrible. Housing is crammed together. Difficult to navigate, confusing and parking is often a great distance from actual residences. I do not know anything about pricing for homes or shared apartment buildings. Not to mention the drainage for sidewalks and common areas is very poor. Bring your waders. The community is somewhat well kept and has a colonial look and feel. There is a golf course, but I do not know the details. Conveniently located near I95 north and south. If you are thinking of buying or living here, get your head examined. Run to somewhere better and do it fast. Whoever designed this place...

I am a resident for quite sometime time,)20yrs. people are wonderful & helpful . I purchased while Iwas still working there’s a NY bus at entrance gate (convenient)was you can’t beat the look/ambiance - (like an English Village),nor the value !!Service is great as are the staff.
