If there were a minus rating I would give that. Tuesday April 5 I took my 90 year young mother in law for a scheduled appointment. I had confirmed it on Monday. She is blind and has Parkinson’s so walking is very challenging. We arrived in the lot outside the office before 2:30pm and I assisted her from the car to the reception room. There was no one at the desk when we arrived but we waited by the desk. When the woman appeared I said “checking in” and gave her name. We were informed that she had “just canceled the appointment”. I said WHY? Rudely she replied “You are LATE! We called twice.” My mobile phone was in my car and it had not rung all morning. I said “We are here. it is now 2:41pm she needs to see the Doctor. She now had another person behind her. She said “well, you will have to reschedule because you are cancelled.” So I said “That’s not right! She’s 90 and handicapped. It was not easy to get her here and we aren’t THAT late. Sometimes we wait in an exam room for over an HOUR for him, yet you cancel us for less than 15 minutes late??” Meanwhile I’m 72 and have had issues with this office before. They are non responsive to me and the pharmacy for refill requests. This was THE LAST STRAW. I told them if the MD would not see her today we would never be back. She said “he has a 3:00 appointment.”Meanwhile it was only 2:48 at this point and he spends no more than 3 minutes with her once we ever get in there. I was told “Please leave now!” I felt so horrible for my MIL standing there in shock and the rest is a blurr. I was furious at their lack of professionalism and disrespect. I was heartbroken for the situation and very embarrassed. We went home and I searched a new Geriatric specialist. Lastly, when I checked my mobile phone later on there was a VM from them at 2:38pm (while we were making our way from the car to the office) informing us that we were CANCELLED due to lateness. To add insult to injury they had the audacity to leave a message on her home phone to please call to reschedule the appointment that we missed because her health care is most important. You can’t make this stuff up! The practice should...
Read moreThe most unprofessional and incompetent office staff you will ever encounter. Over a 3 year period, I and my spouse gave the office multiple chances to correct their issues. It only got progressively worse. I left the group 2 years ago, and have been trying to convince my wife to do the the same. After another ordeal today with this incompetent staff, she may now be convinced. They’re rude. They have attitude. They don’t answer their phones. We literally called them 4 times yesterday. We thought they were closed. Come to find out they were open. When they were asked about it, they didn’t know why nobody was answering. My wife switched her insurance this year. We made sure her doctor was in network, only to be told by the person handling billing they don’t. After further explaining to her for another 5 waisted minutes, that we first verified it with the insurance company, she eventually figured out that they do in fact take her insurance. With an appointment scheduled via Zocdoc, (again, because they don’t always answer the phones), because of all the confusion, and waisted time on their part, my wife never got to see her doctor. What a mess.
You can have an appointment, you will still sit and wait for 30 to 45 minutes, but if you’re 10 minutes late, you will not see a doctor. All new hire doctors never last. Only a few that have been there a while, are still there. I can’t imagine why. My wife and I are fairly young, we can manage dealing with this office. I feel bad for the elderly, or the ones that don’t have kids to assist them, that struggle with this place. With this rude, incompetent, and unprofessional staff, it might be better for your health to...
Read moreI’ve been going here for my physical and any intermittent illnesses for the past few years but after yesterday I think I’ll find a new primary. The nurse practitioner I saw was fine, but the front office staff is not helpful. I arrived about 10 mins early for my 7:30am appointment yesterday and there was a sign on the door that says don’t enter, please call this number to check in from your car. No problem. I go outside and call the number. It rings and rings and no one answers. I try again in a few minutes, again no one answers. As it gets closer to my appointment time, I start to worry and I call the main office number. It says the office is closed until 8am. How do I have an appointment at 7:30 if the office doesn’t open until 8? I got back inside and knock on the office door. No answer. I try both numbers again and no answer. I start to panic - reconfirming my date and time via text and email I received. I wonder should I leave but if I do will I be charged a fee? Finally I get a call asking me where I am because I’m late for my appointment. I’d been here for 20 mins at that point calling and knocking. I was told - well you’re the first appointment I should have just walked in. Even though there all these signs on the door that says don’t enter unless you call. Even when I left from the appointment, there was no receptionist at the front desk and I had to call to the back office for assistance. I’ve never experience this poor level of service from any of my other medical professionals- dentist/eye doctor/obgyn. I’m a pretty low maintenance person, but I do expect basic communication regarding the check in/check out process. I don’t think it’s...
