Came into my his store on Friday afternoon. I wanted to see the new store after Badcocks closing. I’ve done business with Badcocks for many years. One person working, he was speaking with a customer not far from the front door. He never looked our way, no greeting, nothing. Yes I know he had a customer, but common courtesy would have been a hello, we will be with you shortly, or anything to acknowledge we were there. We spent 30 minutes in the store looking at recliners and chairs, and were within site of the sales person and his customer at all times. He never once acknowledged us. He was at the desk when we decided to leave as the chair we were interested in had no pricing or information on it, and it had become apparent he wasn’t going to speak with us. He had a last chance to say anything at all as we made our way to the front of the store, although his business with the other customer was concluding as evidenced in her following us out the doors to leave. Never was I treated so indifferently in the many years I did business with Badcocks. The selection appears to be good, the customer appreciation was non existent towards us on this visit.
