As soon as we entered the establishment we were greeted and seated promptly. She was polite with a smile on her face . My husband ordered a burger only cheese and bacon and a coke I ordered a Swiss burger on bun add iceberg lettuce and onion rings .. right away she messed up . She only asked how my husband wanted his burger which was done and not me I wanted mine medium which I didn't realize until I received my food so I was like okay no big deal so I was eating quietly. She came to our table like 5 times which is very annoying since my parents only keep my kids once every 6 weeks so my husband and I can have some time together. Next as Ilook aty plate the lettuce is not what I wanted again something I can deal with so next I bit into the onions on the burger they were hard when it clearly said saluted onions . I don't like the texture I was upset also paid extra for the onion rings they also were hard and not cooked .. the picture posted is what I left as she came to take the plate away she asked if I needed a box I said and stated my problems and nothing when we went to pay the guy was not nice nice but he said he would take the Pepsi off out order .. I'm not happy with this I ate maybe $5 worth of food with my water and was charged $40 my husband did eat his so his was 14$ this is just ridiculous. I Highly do not recommend going here and I will be posting everywhere multiple things just isn't mistake one is this was just wrong .. I ate here for the first time this afternoon and I guarantee you, I will be back!! We were greeted and seated very quickly, by a smiling host. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. Today’s special @ $12.95, which included a meat, two vegetables and rolls/cornbread) was the fried chicken and it was tender, juicy, and delicious! I ordered the Mac & Cheese (what my Grandma would call a baked macaroni pie) and Lima beans, which were both mouthwateringly delicious!! Everything was neat and clean, with no water spots on the utensils. (For some reason that makes me happy) We were checked out by Nelson, the manager, and he was so nice! You could tell he was proud of his place and enjoyed his job. For the record, my lunch companion has eaten there many times over the years and tells me the food and service is consistently great!

Update! I brought home my leftovers to have for lunch today. I rarely eat leftovers because they end up all soggy or too hard/soft, etc., but I wanted to give y’all a full and honest review, so here it is: The breading on the chicken was not soggy at all! Keep in mind that yours truly was raised a southern Baptist (I.e. fried chicken was supposed to be served every Sunday after church, and yes, they’re SURE it’s listed somewhere in the Bible), so I KNOW chicken! We had my Dad's birthday party there. Everyone was served dinner except my father. We waited and waited, no one came out to explain what was going on. Eventually my sister went to the kitchen to ask. The waitress came out and with an attitude said "I gave him his dinner first and he gave it to his wife." Several other people had ordered the same meal. We found out later the kitchen had miscounted the number of meals to prepare. Everyone else was halfway through their dinner before his was served and the ones who waited until he was served had a cold dinner to eat. There was no apology, no explanation until we asked, no offer of his meal being free or discounted.They acted like this was his fault. And of course the 20% tip was already added into the bill. Plus no one was offered the coffee or tea that was supposed to be included...
