Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Monroe

Ollie's is clean inside. Easy to navigate the isles. And the workers are very friendly and helpful. But the prices are not what I expected to see. Too high. I am not sure, because I never asked, but they look like or seem to carry items like railroad salvage items. They seem to have plenty of whatever they have in stock at the time. But some of the flavors or scents are very unusual or first time see-ers. At least they have been the first time I had ever seen them. They don't have everything we were looking for, but that does not mean they didn't have it at one time or another, or that they will not get the item. Plus, like I said, "The prices were sometimes more than I wanted to pay." I could not see that much difference in their prices and the WalMart over prices. My husband calls their prices "COVID Prices". Everything everywhere went up at least double what they were before COVID hit the nation. So if you don't mind spending the same amount, or a dollar cheaper than Walmart, you will like shopping at Ollie's. But for me, I found the items I was looking for at Marshall's and TJ Max to be much less costly, and they were of better quality than Ollie's or WalMart's prices. One item I had been looking for at Ollie's and WalMart was a $100.00+, but I found it at TJ Max for $35.00. Oh yea, my husband bought a garden rake for $12.97 at Ollie's. This is one of my absolute favorite stores...Me and my Guy come in here and shop, shop,shoppp. He loves this store we walk around and find really COOL STUFF FOR CHEAP CHEAP indoor and outdoor stuff.... But you got to have a little time on your hands to look around really good.. that's how you find the good stuff.. I get over there in the kitchen department And get STUCK EVERYTIME......We have a new one coming to Bastrop,La really soon and I'm excited... If you love discount stores with coupons, very decent pricing and nothing expired go here. Obviously you will need to price check but the rewards alone is worth it. They got comic books, cat furniture, bedding, carpets, toys and everything brand new. I have yet to find one food item actually expired and all packaging is perfect. Today we went there and used the 20% for one item on an air conditioner so it only cost $130 then another 10% coupon through our email for our lunch snacks.
