If there were negative stars to give this restaurant a review, that is what I would give it. My husband is from West Monroe and we were home for the weekend visiting family. We decided to grab lunch here because I had never ate there before and husband always talked about how great it was. It was my husband and his aunt and uncle, my daughter, and their child that all went there to eat lunch. Let me say that the employees were extremely rude and unprofessional. When I stated that I could carry my own tray, the lady rudely kept blabbing unnecessary talk. The lady that was supposed to tend to our table was very lazy and showed us extreme attitude when she had to refill our drinks and would not even reach to grab our glasses, she would hold her hand out only a little bit and expect us to hand her our glasses each time. When we went to check out, I asked about a military discount, as my husband and I are both military and it was VETERANS day. They said yes, and then while running our card, they asked about us adding a tip and we kindly declined, (because our service was TERRIBLE, why would we tip??) and when my card was handed back to me and my ticket, the lady behind the counter smarted off saying, "whoops I forgot to add your military discount" laughing while she said it. VERY unprofessional and RUDE, especially to people who serve their country. Will NEVER eat there again and never suggest to anyone...
Read morewhen I first walked in it smelled normal everything’s fine. Until we got through the door. Right when you walk in and grab your tray you see many crumbs and food on the carpet. The person handing out our food was zoned out and most likely on something. So there was another lady that came out. I said chicken tenders and they gave me fried chicken. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to seem annoying. I also was dripping sweat because of how hot it was in there. They had about three fans in the worker area. Do they care about their customers? The bread was very cold and stale. I took one bite of the chicken and gagged it tasted like it was put in a toaster. The table was very very sticky. It tasted like a drink was spilt and never cleaned up. The table was not wiped up with many crumbs. I only got 3 things so thank god. The workers were so scared they were gonna get a bad review to the other workers that my girlfriend went to ask the workers to throw something away and the worker stopped handling out our food to stare at her scared about something so I said she’s just throwing away. Very bad...
Read moreVisited with family on 09/11. Mom had stuffed fish ( cold) , Mac and cheese (cold , no season) broccoli and rice casserole (cold , and mushy) I had fried chicken (delicious) , cabbage (cold and had an over powering vinegar taste) mashed potatoes and gravy ( ice cold but well seasoned), GF had fish ( cold but well seasoned) Mac and cheese (cold , over cooked underseasoned) hush puppies (cold and underseasoned). I also had a side salad but was unable to eat it due to a rancid smell to the salad, I believe it was the bacon strips. My nephew (3) had tenders broccoli and cheese and macaroni, and everything was cold and he refused to eat. He also had a slice of pecan pie that tasted like cornstarch. We basically paid $51 for 4 drinks and a tasty red velvet cake. We were unable to locate our waitress to voice our concerns. My nephew was getting cranky so we left and ate else where, will not...
