I went for the 1st class with my son for the required Parent - Alcohol Awareness segment tonight. It was excruciatingly painful - probably the longest 2 hours of my life. If she had covered what she was supposed to that would be one thing but she didn't. Instead she chose to babble on and might I say repeat over and over things that the students will learn when driving. She couldn't present the material to save her life and to think she does behind the wheel is quite scary. I can't stress how many times she had to rethink her sentences and start over with "um" and couldn't finish a single thought process ; and all while she was reading it Verbatim from a notebook. A 12 year old could have come in and read better. One student and the parent walked out after 15 - 20 minutes while the rest of us held our heads in our hands and tried not to lose it completely. By 830 there wasn't a person who could contain themselves and tried to keep the smirking and laughing to a minimum. For the money spent on a class it is unacceptable. I want to know that my son is going to come out of the class being an experienced driver. I don't have high expectations other than the fact he has already done a lot of driving with his father. I feel absolutely sorry for the kids that have to endure 7 more classes of 4 hours a night with this woman!! I had to give it 1 star but it didn't even...
Read moreBest driving school I've been too! I've taken classes at a different driving school program and dropped out. The instructor wasn't very great there for my classes. This program was amazing with amazing people! I'm glad they added the adult program so I could take the test as an adult. I had five different instructors because of my schedule. All five were great (Lauren Altleri, Keith Reszdy, Sarah P., Gregory C. and I forgot the name for the one who does Stratford.) Very supportive, encouraging, informative and welcoming instructors I recommend! The instructor for the Zoom meetings were also helpful! I highly recommend taking the road test in Monroe! Aced my test first try! They didn't have one in my town and Monroe was the easiest my mom said with the traffic and roads. I definitely recommend doing the mock test before the test, it was the most helpful lesson. The testing host (Al Cirigliano) and the agent who tested me that day were very kind and helped calm my nerves the day of the test by mapping out everything before hand and any questions I had, that I might've forgotten before getting in the car. Also, I didn't have to deal with the DMV on getting my license after I passed so...
Read moreI had my very first driving lesson today with Lindsay at Next Street, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. From the moment I got in the car, she made me feel completely at ease. She was incredibly patient, calm, and reassuring. This is exactly what you need when you’re learning to drive for the first time. Lindsay explained everything clearly and walked me through each step in a way that was easy to understand. Even when I was nervous or unsure, she never once made me feel rushed or embarrassed. Her encouraging attitude helped me build confidence behind the wheel, and she struck the perfect balance between giving guidance and letting me learn through experience. What really stood out to me was how observant and supportive she was. She noticed the little things I did well, gave helpful tips on areas I could improve, and always remained super positive. I left the lesson feeling not only more confident about driving but also excited to...
