This place is fantastic! The worst thing that I can say about it is that it’s across town from me, which is a pain when I need meat for dinner last minute. I won’t get chicken or steak from the grocery store anymore. The chicken, while more expensive than the cheapest grocery store chicken, is excellent quality and never woody. It’s cheaper than the organic options from the grocery store, but much better quality. I tried filets from the butcher in Newtown and while more expensive, everyone in the family agreed that the steaks from here are better. Meat Me in Monroe—a true gem for anyone who appreciates premium quality cuts and top-notch customer service! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The owners are incredibly polite, soft-spoken, and genuinely knowledgeable about their craft. Their passion for what they do shows in every detail.

In search of: a brisket for the first run on a new smoker—it did not disappoint….marbled and incredibly fresh. I followed their seasoning suggestion….absolutely mouthwatering.

O My…… what a difference in meat from grocery store. I purchased the choice bone in rib eye…. I would have never know it was choice…. It was so tender, juicy, melt in your mouth and flavorful I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this again. I am definitely a person that does not like spending money and is always looking for the sale in the butcher isle. But if you need to treat yourself once a month give this place a shot it was delicious and worth the price...
