This establishment can be simply defined as a scam. They conn people into trading their phone's in for an ancient model that is refurbished, and will break within hours.
The iPhone 7+ with 128GB of storage & unlocked, was "traded in" for an iPhone6.
They gave her an iPhone6 and charged her $50 with a:
Third party display -Third party battery that you can hear rattling (which could cause a thermal event if punctured) Within in the same day the phone does not turn on. none of which was said during the sale
Within hours of obtaining the device, the phone did not turn on. Which is no shock, given what the quality of phone and service that was delivered at this store.
These sales people talked there way into a "great deal" saying they were going to send the 7+ out that day to be recycled, and replace for my friend with a 5 year old phone iPhone6.
This business needs to start thinking about the people who shop there and rely on honest and helpful work. Taking advantage of people should not be your sales goals, and it is a shame that it is.
I chose to not call out the two sales people who "helped" my friend. As I don't see it making even a slight bit of difference to the store owners.
Wireless Zone, I hope you start to care about your customers more. Also, I hope anyone shopping here has better luck than my...
Read moreAfter over a month, I seem to have everything on the account fixed. The owner called and helped work everything out, but by then we had wasted so much time on the phone with customer service, trying to get our plan back the way it was. Just pay very close attention to how they are giving you the discounts. Any problems, just call the owner. I wish I had dealt with him in the first place.
It's been a month and things continue to be a problem. I went in to make sure my phone was erased properly so I could send it back for a trade-in. John looked up our account and said we were actually able to upgrade both our phones to the pro for FREE and that he could take care of it all instore. The way he went about it was so convoluted! He messed with almost all the accounts on our family plan to "give us a deal" but made it impossible to see which of the 10 of us paid what - HE CHANGED THE PLANS SOME PEOPLE WERE ON. The owner of the plan (my father) has spent hours on the phone with corporate, if not days trying to fix the mess that John made of the account. John was too eager to make the sale and really made this a...
Read moreWent to Verizon tonight to have a replacement screen protector put on my phone. After I leave, I realize it was not put on properly so I return to the store. The original associate tries to fix it and puts it on and takes it off multiple times, but there continue to be bubbles. He goes to his boss and even he was unable to properly install the screen protector. The boss comes out and gives me all kinds of excuses as to why this is a bad product, they don’t carry this item, it was done to the best of the associate’s ability, and then tells me I should call Verizon and get a replacement. What good is a replacement if you can’t put it on?
I purchased the screen protector from a Verizon store, not online and was informed by the store that this was one of their best selling screen protectors. I registered it so it had a warranty on it and I was advised by the warranty company that a Verizon associated needed to install this new screen protector. Maybe if a product is not up to par it shouldn't be sold in...
