I had a huge issue with my prescription refill. The Walgreens system was showing not approved, but insurance was showing approved. I finally drove down to Walgreens hoping that by bringing the two groups together so that we could solve it. The two associates up front were Jason and Logan. They already had a lot of customers, but they were willing to talk with my insurance about what they were seeing and compare it with what the insurance was seeing. They did all this while simultaneously continuing to serve customers at the other lane (which I appreciate. I hate holding others up). Eventually, they brought the manager (Shawna I think?) to see if she could figure it out. It took some trouble shooting, but they were able to get the system reset and fixed. I know the easy route would have been to shrug, blame the computer, and pass the buck to the company help line. Instead, they worked with me and my insurance for 45 minutes to make sure that I was able to get my medication, and they did it without stopping the flow of customers.
