Had a wonderful experience at Willie’s Vintage. I am slowly replacing my jewelry after the Eaton fire, and decided to stop by after looking for local thrift/vintage stores in Sierra Madre, and I’m very glad I did! Jeanette, Raquel and Joey were so sweet, hospitable and kind.

Not only did I find some nice jewelry pieces, they also had a vintage Hawaiian dress that brought back a lot of nostalgic memories. On top of that Jeanette and Raquel were also kind enough to gift me some clothing after finding out we lost our things in the fire! They did not have to do that at all, and they both took time out of their day to listen to my story and have a nice chat.

Sadly I have to say that I will no longer be shopping at Willie’s. I had been a previous regular when they had their other shop and feel as if I had gotten to know both the owner Raquel and her mother a little and was excited to see the new one and what it had to offer. I was disappointed when I visited and the mother completely ignored my mother and then proceeded to unsubtly accuse me of stealing a ring. I had been walking around the store with it because I was unsure if I wanted to purchase it. I finally decided that I didn’t and put it back just the way I found it in the exact same spot.
