With others reviews putting 5 stars with no pictures and comments surely you can doubt it that will be their workers with their family/ friends (fake reviews). With my reviews I always try to submit with pictures and my review is real experienced. The worst customer experience at JC Penney this evening. Like always… there always have a line to pay, pick up or return. When I entered this building there was customer service so I started standing on the line with others, when i was right on the front line waiting for my next turn, the cashier (I attached her picture) saw me holding the bag from online shopping and I’m sure she knows I’m there for return items. She didn’t bother to say to me that her station is not for return. Apparently she was just enjoying seeing me waste my time waiting there. When my turn is up I walk closer to her and she said “are you returning items? Actually you have to go here (pointing small signage on her station), I can’t help it and I said to her in the front of everyone there “you saw me standing with a bag in my hands can’t even bother to tell me sooner and made me waiting??” Is ridiculous how JC Penney have their worker really unprofessional and not there for helping their customer. Order was not shipped until 2/20/25 Thursday when I was given false mailing details before purchasing. Before finalizing order, I confirmed the order would be delivered by 2/21/25. Order was not shipped/picked up until 2/20/25 the delivery date changed from 2/22/25 to 2/24/25 almost five days after I need items. I NEVER DELT WITH situations like this when ordering from Macy’s or even Walmart. When I called on 2/19/25 the representative was not helpful and kept blaming UPS( vendor) for not picking up package for 4 days after I ordered with merchant. Read moreI like their sunglasses, but they badly need to modernize their elevator. The elevator in question is a Dover from 1977 and a horrible one at that. It received an Innovation Universal slap-on modernization in the 1990s and is constantly suffering neglect. The doors bang, the button for LL never lights up, jolts when going up, just awful. It needs a modernization by Otis ASAP. Restroom facilities are disgusting because people always forget to flush the toilets, and they have not yet replaced the paper towels dispensers with hand dryers. Unbelievable. All things considered, if they improve the restrooms at all their stores and maybe create a customer service email, I'll continue...
