I have rated this place before, had great service and food. Will not be back again. Second experience was awful. We were sat at a booth near the bar, our server took our drink orders, brought those back, took our food orders and that was the last time she came to our table. We could see her, standing at the bar, having a fun chat, in front of the manager, with a friend throughout our meal. At one point the manager came by and asked how we were doing, I told her not too good, that my husband would love a refill on his dr. Pepper that had been empty, sitting on the edge of the table for at least 10 minutes along with the stack of dirty appetizer plates that no one bothered to clear. Manager got the refill and cleared the dishes, wasn't her job, but hey, you don't want to make your server do her job, not my issue. I ordered prime rib, my last meal before starting chemo for stage 4 cancer. Not for your pity, just for reference, I wanted that melt in your mouth, rare prime rib that I wouldn't be barfing up one last time before 6 months of hell. What I got was one of the toughest cuts of prime rib I have ever had. Seriously, I could barely cut it with my knife, and melt it did not. It was over done and I could barely eat 1/3 of it. Brought the rest home for my dog. The manager came back by at the end of our meal, asked how we were doing. We informed her we were not happy with the service as we never saw our server after initial order taken. She asked who our server was. I was gobsmacked, I am a manager at a restaurant, you KNOW what zones your servers are in. I pointed to our server, still sitting, chatting with her friend at the bar as she had been our entire meal. Manager got us a to go box for my dogs steak, asked if we wanted to go drinks since after that first Dr pepper refill we never got another one for either of us, we took a pass as we were just done at that point. As I said, I manage a restaurant myself, I tip huge because I know what kinds of tips people leave some really great servers. We all ordered drinks and an appetizer and also ordered our main dinner and the issue that I had was, I ordered a medium well steak and it came out bleeding. As my family proceeded to enjoy their dinner I waited for our waiter to come to our table. When our waiter stopped at our table, I explained my steak was undercooked. He took it back to the kitchen. Several minutes later he returned with my steak. As I cut into it it was still bleeding and not medium well as I had ordered. Back to the kitchen it went. A lady approached me and apologized, my steak was brought back to me as it had left undercooked and I at that point gave up and told her my dog will eat good tonight. My family had already finished their dinner and there I was still hungry for the steak I ordered 45 minutes ago. I was extremely disappointed because I ended up paying for a steak that I should have never paid for to begin with, because when you take it back and you get it wrong three times why should the customer have to pay for their dinner because it was ruined by somebody in the kitchen who didn't clearly know what they were doing let alone dinner was ruined because I could not have dinner with my family to celebrate my 28 wedding anniversary. The female who approached me I'm assuming was the manager at the time should have taken my meal off the bill but that still does not resolve the hardship that was imposed upon me and my family because they screwed up my dinner that we were supposed to enjoy as a family let alone a disappointment I had while I was there celebrating my 28th wedding...
Read moreI would give NO stars if possible! Ribs were not prepared properly they were pink throughout the entire full and half racks to the bone and were hard to detach from the bone. Not only were we given a lecture from the staff on how the ribs were prepared but they blamed us for picking them up a few minutes after they closed at carside to go due to being far away. This is NOT an excuse for receiving almost $100 from the customers in exchange and giving them INEDIBLE ribs which we explained could not be eaten. We didn’t have dinner that night. The very next day, we brought the ribs back demanding for a full refund for the ribs. This Outback is untrustworthy, they will give you a hard time on “refunding you” without your order number though they will remember you from the night before, I’m sure you throw the receipt away when you are about to eat food like most people. They said they would be quick to give us a refund inside and had us wait 2.5-3 hours.They will lie and say that they will refund you and draft up an entire fraudulent receipt via email but you will not be refunded. I just want to warn everyone that this Outback will screw you over by taking your money, make excuses and apologize for their poor performance, but they will lie to you and will waste your time.
